Marry to your passion and make it works....else your soul will wither sooner or later..........Originally posted by tia:Shall i go after my dream to b a fashion designer? n take a dip. in fashion design? or a dip. in fashion merchandising n marketing?
or do another one.. dip. in hotel management.. which my parents want me to take bcuz they think tis will haf a better future?
Personally... I'll suggest the 2nd one. Dip. in hotel management... Looks like tourism and hotel business won't be flying too high in the near future.. By the time you've completed your dip. and working? Must things are already quite firm and established in the market... Unless you have rather good 'connections', I won't urge you on this one...Originally posted by tia:Shall i go after my dream to b a fashion designer? n take a dip. in fashion design? or a [color=blue]dip. in fashion merchandising n marketing?

No point follow wat ur parents say and in the end u dont get good results rite ??Originally posted by tia:Shall i go after my dream to b a fashion designer? n take a dip. in fashion design? or a dip. in fashion merchandising n marketing?

Not a bad decision? Well... For most choices, there'll always be plus and minus to it... Since you're currently up for your plan, just stick to it for now?Originally posted by tia:wat i plan to do is to register myself for all three courses...
n c which one m i able to get in..
but if i happened to get enrolled into 3 courses.. i think i will take the fashion wan..
den i bring my portfolio to the teacher n ask if base on the drawings do i haf talent.. if she/he say no.. i will tk fashion merchandising n marketing..

actually, if u are talking about government or GLC jobs, they dun really recognised ACCA, their prefer NTU deg, but if u are not planning to go there, then yes it is as recognized as NTU, but it's alot tougher to pass it too, passing rate is about 50% only, so unless u got no choice, my advice is dun try it, better to go some aust uni and get ur accounting degree there.Originally posted by boy in blues:yup. it's as recognized as NTU accountancy degree, but costs more since non-subsidized.
i know i am very cynical.... but i dun like that ad... cos in case u din realise, the guy has got the money... of course he can talk abt achieving his dreams...Originally posted by lZeNl:As in the commercial about Streats in the TV

$6k is self-study type right? no tutorial sessions and classroom interaction. that makes it even less recognized. but if gonna work in private sector, they oso bochup.Originally posted by I-like-flings(m):actually, if u are talking about government or GLC jobs, they dun really recognised ACCA, their prefer NTU deg, but if u are not planning to go there, then yes it is as recognized as NTU, but it's alot tougher to pass it too, passing rate is about 50% only, so unless u got no choice, my advice is dun try it, better to go some aust uni and get ur accounting degree there.
yes it is not-subsidized by government but unless u keep on failing, it will confirmed be ALOT cheaper then NTU deg or overseas uni, u can get it done at about $6000 only
