Singlehood better?

Why? Why is it that some ppl prefer to be single? My gal left after 2 years coz she said she prefered being single... I did not restrict her in any way, I dun even ask who she goes out wif yet she feels tied down to me. Is it not wrong to worry for her whenever she goes out to do her extreme sports? She juz doesn't want me to worry. This is not the way out. Why doesn't she wanna work things out? Why? Why? Why?
After 2 yrs, I din force her to start. If she thought so all along, why did she start off wif me? Is it not very selfish? But I can't blame her, I love her too much. Maybe if I am angry wif her, I'll feel better but I can't....

she is too independent for u. whatever care u shower on her, she dun appreciate it, so if i were u, i would feel unappreciated and so might be turned off by her. u worrying for her in what form?? sms/phone?? maybe she feels tiring to report to u after u ask her how she is?? if this is so, she is simply have "no feel" for u. she doesn't wanna work it out, i think is her lost. sad to say, hope she'll regret leaving u in the future.....Originally posted by drowssap_123:Why? You did the right thing, why blame on yourself if the relationship doesn't work out? In the first place, nobody say that, even by doing the right thing, the relationship will be ever-lasting. We all discover new things about our partner and our relationship everyday - it is this discovery that made us closer to reality... made us realise if she is really the one we will be together in the end.
She needed to breathe, not because of what you did, but because she feels that the relationship is restricting her mobility. Like a bird in cage, there are things in life where she may like to do, but the liability of a relationship could tie her down. She may dislike such feelings - always have to put bf as top priority and such. This may choke her and she feels enslaved.
So how? What to do?
Two words: Release her.
If she feels her self actualization lies else where for now, let her go because she wouldn't feel happy if this stage cannot be reach. You loved her? You must see blessing in her life - if this relationship cannot allow her that kind of happiness, why restrict? Has your love gone to such heights yet? Or are you still lingering in physical possession stage?

singlehood means more time and resources to do wat one likes.
but it also means loneliness and lack of an essential part of life.
there is a compromise to be made for every decision we make. it's jus how we strike a balance i guess. -

The point is...she doesn't love you anymore. Period.

Perhaps she might be feeling tired from explaining to u & reassuring u all the time. I'm Not sez'g it's ur fault, cosh it's only natural to worree abt someone u love. It's juz tt, sometimes the other party may be a tad selfish. Sometimes they dowan to compromise...
Hopefully u'll find someone more understanding. Take ur time to grieve & rant. But do cheer up after some time...

Oddly, I din really feel lonely after awhile... My frens surrounded me & supported me...
My best fren made me so happee tt I din feel the need to date. And then we ended up together

well. i make myself busy - to occupy myself, and to give myself excuse for not dating. but yeah, i do feel lonely from time to time, esp when i cant find my frens to go out wif cos they r all busy wif their dates, and during those kind of festive seasons...
oh well.

There are some ppl who are single, but they are not happy! They do not choose singlehood, they are left with no choice! They can't find their other halves!
There are some ppl who are single and happy! Becoz that's our choice!

Haiz like sux. Everyday morning go work evening come back watch tv, sun play football. Tats my singlehood. Plain boring =/.
