  Foremost, thank you. Yes YOU! The handsome guy/pretty girl sitting at the computer screen.(Even if you didn't post.) For reading this story of mine. I have wrote and re-wrote it numerous times just to produce this result.(It wasn't easy at all.) Without the 5 C's you guys gave me I wouldn't be able to reach this far. You muz be wondering what 5 C's?! No, not cash, car etc...But complaints, criticism, comments, crap, last but not least compliments W/O yr encouragement and support, I wouldn't be bothered to continue writing. But it's been a gre8 experience writing this story and letting you guys view it exclusively here on sgforums. Ok enough of my long-windedness, I wanted to thank pple so I'll just take the chance to list yr names ok? It's been a gre8 experience writing this story, I hope that u had as much a gre8 experience reading it as I had writing it...

  GrimR's Did You Know Section. (Little snippets of information regarding the story.)
  
  -This is my second story. My first was written pretty badly and I didn't have the face to show it to pple. Maybe I should re-write it?
  
  -When writing, I visualised Mint as the person I have a crush on. She's from my school, but I never had a chance to even get to know her name. Have been hoping to see her in school just about everyday, but sadly, I never did. Well, only seldom...
  
  -Mint's house was 'created' from my visit to a friend's house. I simply added in more atmosphere. (Chapter 4.)
  
  -The pool hall mentioned refers to the one at Cuppage Plaza. I know the cue sucks etc... *shrugs shoulders* don't look at me. It just popped up my mind. So I just wrote what came to mind. (Chapter 1.)
  
  -Believe it or not, I actually used the old 'Bookworm' books as a source of inspiration in certain chapters. Can't help but
  feel the writing style in it is good.
  
  -Some of the chapter titles were taken from songs. Would you like me to list the few here?
  
  -Initially, a tragic/sad ending was planned. But I wanted readers to put down the story with a 'satisfying sigh', so I opted for a happier one.
  
  -I know this the one that had some pple criticising me. The shooting star! I was quite short of ideas at that time and so I thought why don't we add some exaggeration here. Doesn't it happen in dramas too? (Chapter 3.)
  
  -Writing the sad parts were pretty hard. Had to get myself into the mood, by listening to some sad songs.
  
  -Kate's little story was taken from Carrie Chong's reflections, on Perfect 10 98.7FM. I was listening in one night while writing, when I heard it and thought it would be good to put it in. (Chapter 10.)
  
  -In actual fact, I DON'T have a little sister! I'm the youngest in my family, and I have one older brother. (Chapter 9.)
  
  -Had quite a couple of late nights staying up to write. The more ideas I come up with, the harder it is for me to let go and settle down to sleep. But it's been worthwhile. ^_^
  
  -Clint, Mint, donÂ’t the two names rhyme?
  
  Yup this just about sums up all I want to share with you all about my story. Hopefully there will be another on soon. Who knows, check back 1 month later and you may just see a new post by me!

  ahah i like the way u described your "behind the scenes"!
  
  i definitely can relate. music helps, so do vivid memories (the pool place, friend's house), and hopes(your crush on ur school mate).
  
  when pple ask if a story is true, sometimes it is. it is made up of many different truths, interpreted by the writer, and gelled together.

  Hmm.. yr story very realistic lah... has the singaporean vibe in it. More or less, I can relate to yr story. I guess u r the sort who knows a big network of ppl from walks of life and u r the sort who like to follow frens to play pool, chiong, watch movies, go clubbing and all... I guess that's where u get your inspirations for yr story. If u do all that, I guess your main aim is to observe ppl, am I right? And maybe to get to know more girls? hehe..
  
  Anyway, roughly how old are you? I guess u r in yr late 20's? jus wanna kay poh.. hehe.. I guess u do have a number of gfrens uh?
