u tell me who will so darinly walk in while u all were only 3 sec away from the recept?
anyway u can ask ur telco provider to see if they preserve ur contacts if its kept in ut sim..
i tink it maybe retracable.. ask the telco..
and to the ass hole who did this..

oh my!!!! ouch ouch ouch!!! contacts are one of the worst things to lose....
remember to disable your sim card too....
but look on the bright side... contacts worth keeping are the ones who would contact u.. then u can get their contacts again...
if they don't... then maybe not fated....

1. There are 5 people around in the office during the crime time, what were they during? How big a group is your company? How many people?
2. Who are the people who frequently visits your work place? (outsiders)
3. If not too many people often visits there.. For the past 1 week (Or maybe even 3-4 days), who have been there for at least a 2-3 days visit? (highly possible during a time which you were all busy and also possibly around the same time of which the crime took place)
4. If it's an outsider's job. There is a chance that the person might revisit on the 3rd or 4th day. Look out for suspicious character.
5. Is it a known fact that your office usually have people leaving the valuables around?
6. Anyone recently quite very short of cash in your office?
Last but not least... The police is probably quite right... Chances of catching the culprit with good evidence(s) is actually quite slim...
