I think those who harbor this thoughts are those that have not learnt to let go. You simply grief over someone that is not meant to be yours. So what if you were together? How are you sure that there will not be another one better that comes along. As long as you keep comparing, the will never be an end to it. It is also not very fair to someone that loves you.
I believe marriage itself is a beginning to another phase of love itself. Marriage is a milestone that both of you decided to take a further step in your current relationship and a commitment to nurture and enhance your relationship. Through times, with mutual trust, care, and forgiveness, the relationship will be stronger then ever. By then, all relationship that you once had look pale compare to what both of you and achieve so far.
Cherish what you have. True love is there only when both of you take effort to work on it. -

i believe seldom ppl would get to marry their first love, instead of holding on and neva let go, why not think abt what have u learnt from ur past relationships and improve on the coming one? we have to move forward instead of looking back and sigh... -

People come and go, they hurt you and they moved on with their lives. You get hurt and you carried it with you for life. Usually the one that hurt you most is usually the first few relationships in your life, when our emotions are most fragile.
I used to think like this...then I realised the reason is because I couldn't let go of the confused feelings as to why they have to hurt me in the first place and I probably blamed them in my heart. But once I decided let go and forgive them for all the hurt that they have caused me, I realised that I don't even think of them anymore...their chapters simply ended in my heart. And the ones that remained in your heart are the ones that you loved the most...cos they are always in your heart.

Well, sometimes e one u love may not be e one u marry... from e start of a relationships, the gal / guy may feel that they are made from each other blabla.. in reality it may not... there's alots of factors to be considered.... money wise plays a part depending on how e couple think...
when either one party had a change of heart, u can never believe the actions he'she has done to you, it's totally beyond recognition... but at least it's not too late to find out the truth... there's always beta opportunity out there 4 u... a relationship plays a part in ur life but it's not everything... treasure what u have ard u is the most important....
Man needs to vent out their anger, their frustrations etc... after that, dun ever look back, look ahead of u k....
