Think religion is each individual's business and love is between two people.
For those people who opposed, wtf is their problem? Love is sacred, nobody should stop/breakup anybody's relationship. Whoever does that will have terrible consequences later on in their life for interfering with other people's destiny. -

can't agree more.... me and my ah lao got common understanding.... that is
1. not to put each others religion down
2. not to force the other party to accept his/her religion
3. respect each others religion -

it's easier said than done..of course at first every partner said they dont mix it together. but there is an implication. During dating time, who would wan to argue about religion and who is to follow whose.
Love and religion does mix when it comes to marriage. For example, You must convert to be a muslim if you marry a muslim. Your next generation will be all muslim and you lost your culture. -

Avoid sensitive topics unless both parties are mature enough to handle it well. Have a wider scope of topics to chat about... Don't haveto narrow down until you must touch on the topic? About future implications, always make things clear and right... Things might change in the future, but it's always a sense of responsibility for both parties to keep up to their part of the promise... Without such, other 'sensitive' issues can easily kill them in time too.... -
