You have a loving partner for 4 years.
During this period, your parents didn't know about your relationship with him/her because of personality/culture/status/etc clashes and you are DEFINITELY 100% sure that your parents would forbid this relationship.
Paper cannot hold raging fire; your relationship is exposed one fine day and you were caught red-handed by your aunty who told your mum about this.
Back at home, arguement brews and got heated up.
Communication fails and you are forced to leave him/her.
You are being commanded back into your room and to stay in there or you will be dis-owned.
You look at your room on the right and the main entrance on far left of the hall.
Will you choose:

actually... its very difficult to make a decision... is the man worthy for me to make such a decision?
Will my partner make this decision if he faces the same problem? a lot of factors to consider....
But at that situation, after heated arguement with parents, i might just walk out of door with my character.
Then i will try to talk to them again after they have cooled down. I know my mum....she will relent and give in to me. Especially if i go missing for a few days

If it's a 1st case in my life, i'll choose A first......especially if the objections arise due to non-mercenary reasons. In such instances, their objections are a result of their love for me...i see myself as unfillial if i choose to disregard their opinions w/o empathising with their feelings (as to why they so strongly object to the relationship).
On another hand, if it's not a 1st case in my life, i'll choose B....especially if my 1st case proved to be a regrettable decision in my life.
Then again, this is just a hypothetical scenario and hence, i can sound damn objective here....who knows what i'll do when it happens?
at the end of the day, though it's not crucial to receive the blessings of my parents in my relationship, i think it's important enuff to have them that's all.

Erm...hard to answer. I guess this kind of thing really have to be in that situation for me to answer sincerely. But how old would the person in this scenario be? I mean, being sent to your room and threatened to be disowned is something normal parents would only do to you when you are a kid. But if my parents were as brainless enough to act like that...I'd purposely choose B.

An interesting but inconceivable scenario, for me anyway. My parents are forbearing and forgiving in nature. So is their son.
In a hypothetical situation where I had to make a choice, without a shadow of doubt, I would choose B.
But even if my folks chose to abandon me, I will never abandon them. I would still continue to care, provide and be there for em whenever they need me. -
