Donkey in the Well....

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth the effort to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily
trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less. -

Since you're here, tell you another story I've heard before?
There was once a child by the name of Kong... He was such a spoilt brat that his parents gave up on him and he was referred to learn from an old master about virtue... His master then gave him a task... 2 boxes... One containing 24 beads and the other none...
His task is to help at least 1 person within the hour and hence have a bead placed over from the filled box into the empty one... On the 1st day he only managed 5 beads... As the days increased, he managed more and more... Till one fine day he got up to a max of 18 beads...
One fine day, he asked his master... "Master.. I need to eat and sleep.. To rest and go to the loo... How can you expect me to perform a deed by the hour and 24 hours around the clock..?"
The master replied... "But my child, you've already achieved what you're here for... A better person... No doubt 18 is no fight for 24, but still far cry from none...."
And the morale of this story is? Don't expect you to keep up to all the points mentioned, but at least you try... Sometimes you can do it, other times you might not... But determination and will to keep it on... If it's good for you and you slowly learn the essence of it... It won't take much of an effort to perform such....

How come the donkey don't repay the 'kindness' of the farmer and his gang? So ungrateful donkey!
Should bite off all the d.i.c.ks from farmer and gang before he trotted away happily ever after.

Learn to relax yourself and your mind more... Do and focus more on activities which you should enjoy doing (e.g. hobbies).
