  and if the trust is earned back, is the love still there?
  
  if both are yes, then, there may still be a chance...
  
  dunno what made the other party lose faith, but that is important too...

  i nursed a broken heart too...
  
  when i say there may be a chance, it is very dependent on something beyond your control.. the other party...
  
  if the other party doesn't want to, holding on is of no use.. it will be hard but it is best to let go even if we do not want to...
  
  a song says this... perhaps it is the only and last thing which one can do with love...

  i hope you'll be well, sooner rather than later.. but do take the time to grieve, to mourn, and then to heal...

  if i sincerely love the person, i would try to salvage the relationship for one last time. if he/she decides that it's better for him/her to me, then, zai tong ye yao ran ta zhuo. mian qiang shi mei you xing fu de, i learnt this the hard way.

  shirurinu, for me...it depends on how much I still love her. If the love is no longer there, then maybe it is really time to say goodbyes. But if I cannot live without her, then I will do/sacifice what I can to salvage the relationship. It is always best to salvage a relationship if possible. But there are some cases where you are powerless to do anything, that is the worst possible scenario that could happen.
  
  Imagine this by yourself, will the other party be happy if you forced him/her to stay with you? Or will she/he be happier? If you are confident that he/she will be happier with you, then you must hang onto that relationship. But if he/she will be happier without you, then it is time to say goodbyes.
