I am currently very troubled now hope for some answers. I am now working but thinking of studying other courses now to make more chances for myself.....

should i study ACCA and if anyone studying now... give me some choices of school?

what are your goals?
no point study something which does not lead you to your goals.
if not, likely to give up halfway due to hardship.

go for degree better la. ACCA is very difficult unless you have lots of determination to go all the way. even so a lot of ppl still give up because last stage so tough to pass. SIM and UOL have accounting courses.

do a part time degree course in things u r interested in.. or even a MBA esp when u have a fundamental degree n yrs of workin experience liao.

Really? so hard to pass? I am also troubled myself thats y asking. So many courses but the choice of job still so small. My friend tells me only 50% pass ACCA. is it more on knowledge or what? y so hard to pass? more practices?

ACCA relli beri difficult to pass...i still left six papers to go..
the last three is three papers in a row on taxation..damn diffcult...

1) so thick the book for each paper, covered alot of topic, u got no time to
study all that in less than 6mth.

2) it's alot of theory and u must know how to smoke and apply it...

3) those practical question are usually so long and link.... so if ur start is wrong... u maybe be wrong all the way already...

4) Most of the time.... alot of ppl cant finished doing te exam... 3hrs only...for theory paper i wrote 20 pages b4... really can cramp man....some wrote even more...

5) Most ppl did it part time and aimless so they are not very focus on their goals

6) those UK ppl are super creative, most of the time u dun even understand what they are asking for in the paper

7) U dun get to see ur exam papers just like ur O level, and each marker used about 10min for each paper as they are earning by the number of paper the marked.... so see ur luck lor...

Conclusion.... yes... it's very hard to pass especially for ppl that just want to take for fun.... but it's not impossible, i have also seen ppl that clear all theri papers without falling....alot of calculation? yes but u must know ur theory b4 u can do it, learn anything?? yes but it's not that useful even when u are at the junior management level in ur company...
