Aunt Agony 'live' sessions - The Outings?

With people suggesting outing for AA and realisation that alot of people actually have much bottomed up in themselves, I've just done a little thinking..
This is just at a brainstorming stage. Thought of organising outings (AA 'live' sessions'). Reasons being to better facilitate suggestion of solutions to individuals through verbal discussions (which would be more interactive and speedy compared to online). Of course, this would not replace AA forum's position as some people would still prefer to post online to their convenience and advices through the 'live' sessions would be restricted to advices given by only those who can make it for the 'sessions'. It can also act as a support group where people who's down in their life can listen to what others have to say and share, and to exchange numbers for future contacts if they want?
The IDEA is for people to E-MAIL or PM me and have their identity a CONFIDENTIALITY if they find it necessary. Their problems (e-mail or PM) would be discussed over during 'sessions'. I've also realised that some people might not like their story to be posted out in the open. So here's some suggestions to cater for different cases...
1. People who want their cases discussed but can choose whether to have their ID withhold. In the case where ID is withhold, the person might wanna use a representative nick so that I can address him / her.
2. People who want their stories withhold from posting online. Their story would not be posted online but instead only the reply would be posted. Keeping as little detail in reference to the original story as possible. Only the representative nick would be mentioned.
3. People who want their replies to be e-mailed back to them.
With that, I should mention again that this is only a brainstorm stage.
I would like to hear more opinions and suggestions, and whether forumites think this is a service which they can use? -

or u`ll be pushing the mails to the same few ppl everytime???? -

Like I've said earlier, the mails are not meant to replace AA. As much as the problems would be entertained in AA's forum, they would be entertained by the same people (also from AA) who's interested in the discussion sessions...
3 issues to note here...
1. Rather than have those people who's not comfortable with posting their problems out in public bottoms up everything. We provide and alternate choice.
2. For those who's comfortable with the posting up but YET wants a more DETAILED discussion way of handling their problem, they can CHOOSE. And the session would consist of interested AA forumites. The person can even turn up himself / herself to hear his / her own problem being discussed without having to expose his / her own identity. Can even ask questions of more concern or interest since it's a discussion session. Like I've said, INTERACTIVE.
3. The problem (if the person is comfortable with it) would be posted in AA with the discussed reply. Others can still chip in their shares as USUAL. If the person is not comfortable with the posting up, it won't have made much of a difference because it wouldn't have been posted in AA anyway in the 1st place? -
but i don't have alcoholism problem leh...for what wanna go aa?

Have some sympathy, Nelstar. Urs may be wat is known as "tough love", but it cld lead to an even worse downward spiral. A kind word & well-meaning advice might save a person's life when tt person's suicidal. When pple r upset, sometimes they might Not be rational & a harsh word can send them into a vicious cycle of "self sympathy".
