Normally indians are very obedient to parents, everything parents say they follow. Visit her parents & ask for permission first. If parents are ok then go for it otherwise forget it.

Thanks for all the replies. I am taking it slow first to sort out my feelings, in case its just a crush. I find her attractive not just becos I like her looks but also I find it enjoyable talking to her. Not sure if the attraction is 2 sided, hope I don't mistaken over friendliness for interest again. I am not very experience in matter of relationship and past rejections by girls of same race make this 1 sees so much more unlikely. How to know some 1 likes you?

Ermmm I think u think too much. BTW you can check my user id in hardwarezone forum, I am using a similar 1 and I don't chiong my posting. I only post in thread I am interested in and quite rarely.Only found out about this forum today when I do a search on indian girl relationship(or something similar). I am rather glad some 1 else share my view in seeing beauty in other race but sad that I am question in my first thread. You know it would be better if you question some 1 not only for 1 coincidence(more than 1 occurance) or if some 1 is posting rubbish. If you consider this thread is rubbish you can just leave. I have even seen Chinese guys with Ang Moh girlfriends also,but unlike Chinese gals who have an interracial relationships,guys usually dont like to boast about it.I have seen many times if let say a Chinese gals with an Indian or Ang Moh boyfriends in buses or public places,the gal usually will talk or laugh loudly as if want to caught other ppl's attention like that.I have nothing against interracial relationship,but i dont really like "attention seeker",no matter he or she trying to catch ppl attention of what!I dont really admire that.

i am not racist (as in killin indians or wanting them out of this world)
and is tolerant of their existence.
guess i cannot giv u any advice just wish u good luck.

If she's Indian Indian she'd prolly like you better coz your Singaporean and are less likely to be a wife beater as much as Indian men are in India.
Anywayz. If you most of you Singaporean guys have this hang up about tan or dark skin colour that's good for me
I remember walking on the street with these Chinese girls in class and we walked pass some Indian boys and the girls were like "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, m@a protect us." I was like "wtf!?"

but in reality you cannot do that because you got to live in a society which is interdependent.
being in a relationship with a dark skin colored is not easy even being in singapore (so called multi-racial, multi-cultural place). remember this.
having relationship with a person of different race and culture is an experience of life. you'll enjoy a lot, you'll learn a lot and so much excitement.
please no offence, i have found chinese people more skin color and race conscious when it comes to relationship/marriage as compared to indians, americans etc (from my personal experience). you'll listen the comments "????likes chocolates now", "smelly", "???? got some mental disorder or some eys side problem" and other countless expressions
PS. i was reverse case of yours. i fell for a chinese and had wonderful time with her and i'm still in love with her even after a break up in worst possible way. the only reason now i'm staying in singapore is she, just to win her back some day. i'll ask her after 2-3 years from now and if she agrees(which i don't think i have a chance) i'll take her away from singapore.
