  depends how senstive the spouse is ..
  for me, i have no problems with my hubby keeping his ex gf's gifts / photos (as long as he's not obsessed with them). They are part of his life and since i accept him, i accept his past too
  
  But if the spouse is highly sensitive, then maybe will have to destroy them..

  hmm.. i would prefer respect my partners' decision and choice.
  
  There's no point throwing anything of theirs from their EX.. coz if you do, you're being possessive over them. don't forget , love grows.. although they might sometimes think of their EX.. your actions meant everything.
  
  So what if you could burn or throw or even tore every single pieces of things that their Ex give .. can you burn and erase those painful memories one have?

  yup...i choose to forget the things i did with my ex... i no longer pine for him anymore.. in fact i stopped pining after the breakup n realised how f#$%ed up he is.
