Why did she look for me when she was sad and crying ?

I am the first guy my ex think of whenever she was sad and crying after a quarrel with her bf. Why issit so ? Even if her best friend was beside her, she would call me first. When i asked her why whenever she sad she would call me, she just said dunno.

maybe she feels dat u understands her the most... sometimes... if u r troubled n u look for someone who dun understand u... it will onli make the troubled person or sad person lagi worse.... coz they need someone to b standing on the same line as them den will they haf the WILL to go on...

i will rather look for or turn to someone who understands mi more than someone who dont really understand mi at all the best part is that he/she may makes the whole things lagi worse -
But when she called me, i asked her what happened. She wouldnt want to tell me at all. I must probe her till she confessed.
Or could she still like me ? -

dun read too much into it or entertain any thots tt she might still like u as it's dangerous.
You can continue to listen to her problems but if u really care abt her, u shld tell her that in order to let her bf to understand her , ultimately she still has to talk to him and to share their woes together. Likewise, her bf need to understand tt as well.

Although she does not say what the problem is, all she wants is a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on when she is feeling down.. Just give that listening ear and hopefully she will tell you her problems..
The problem with girls and guys are they don't like to tell their bf/gf or even their closest fren their problems.. They like to keep it to themselves until they are been probe into or when they feel like telling.. She may feel that at that time for her to tell you the prob is not an appropriate time. Bear with her ya? -
I think you should put yourself in your bf's shoes. Sharing of problems in a relationship is very important, by not sharing your troubles etc, you could prevent communication. By opening up the unknown areas about you to your bf, your bf could learn more about you. -

To confide, you have to be comfortable.
You are the comfortable range in her eyes - call who first, seriously doesn't matter much. (The only exception in your case, if your ex has always been having you as her form of emotional stability and dependancy. When she leave you, she doesn't want to lose this thread of support)
We are often someone's else support and assistance in times of crisis. Don't read too much into it - just be around if you wish to.

hmm.. as a couple before, you shared lotsa stuff, including stuff she and her best friend never shared before. you were the closest to her for a period of time, and now you are friends, she will feel like you are soul mates lor.
