Neighbour above doing Construction work (damn noisy) help!!

Every day , in our apartment , can hear the above neighbour doing renovation
and work, i have been sleeping lately , so i would take a nap often in the afternoon and furthermore my EXAMINATION IS APPROACHING AND THERE IS NO WAY FOR TO STUDY in the afternoons now..
can anyone help me?
P.S: if that neighbour EVER going to need our help , im going to
expletives right into his face!
Im going to sue til he is bankrupt man ,if i ever fail my FINAL exams,
i swear, if not i bring this matter up to Town Council..
I won't seek damages or what, but what i will seek is a order from the court to stop their construction work..
Once I HAVE having this very beautiful NAP, whereby i was dreaming myself in a F-16 jet and they had to spoil it all..not once BUT many times liao.. -
well, u can go upstairs and see if they have the renovation warrant there... or sumthing like that.
if they have it... TOO BAD -

if the thing continues til tomorrow, ive decided to ask to report to town council....
Really buay tahan , cause most of my studying is done at home , projects done at school..
Re:HDB , i believe condo residents oso suffer from this , terrace house can also suffer from it..unless it's a HUGE VILLA in a deserted AREA..
(too bad, the value of a USD $250,000 house in singapore is just a mere 99 years apartment.. -
doing Construction work as long as in the afternoon it ok..It may sound not so pleasant to your ear.But when u are moving in..u bet u also renovation your hse correct...the other neighbour also will feel noisy what..so bare with it ba

The problem is...everyone all moving in that period..my house oso doing the
renovation..
so it's like same "timing" lor..
so we always like..use the car go kai kai .....then come back at night and see how the contractors work
Please, no more kai kai for me liao...my exams coming and im about to fail liao..if nobody helps me.. can't even sleep in peace..
had 5 hours of sleep last night, even remember a time when i didn't slept at ALL..
dreadful..
Furthermore, they love doing "multi tasking" like drilling hammering all at 1 go and i estimate the noise to be around 80 decibels..damn noisy..i have to blast my ear phones..
Next time , if i got chance, i will sent pig head up..^^
Haiya, what u all experience is just my experience, when u all really experience it when ur exams coming , u all will feel the heat ..

(my laptop almost 95% full blast also cannot control..only at full 100% full then can successfully eliminate the stupid noise) -

other times like evening to at night they're not supposed to do renovations at all leh. can call mata so dun pray pray u know...
if need to mug so much go library lar very nice to study one. -

U go 2 town council loh, if e hse above u hve a HDB permit to renovate than they oso cannot do anything 2 help u. Furthermore is in e afternoon lei...nt in e middle of e nite. sad but honestly there's nothing u can do abt it de... its renovation so noise n dust is inevitable 1.... even if they got no warrant or wadever u cant sue them also... cos its a private renovation wads there to approve of...
the onli thing they can assure u is that the dun renovate till too late as in maybe by 7pm shld stop those noisy stuffs like cutting of tiles or wad n just do those quieter jobs lor...
but morning they dun start every early like arnd 7 - 8am de...

If u stay in HDB, U can't carry out renovation wks even it is private renovation n in ur hse without a permit from e HDB. N this permit must paste outside ur hse. gt it? U staying in HDB gt rules to follow, not ur own bungalow. if neighbour complains about e renovation than ur contractor n u (e owner) will kana fine very jia la wan if caught wout a permit. E permit states very clearly e timing that wks could be carried out. So in e mean time bear w it. Cse e renovation permit usually last a mth b4 it expires.
n dun say u wan 2 sue just sue, e court will just throw away ur case with cost. thats means u hve to pay 4 ur own lawyer fees together w e lawyer fee of ur neighbour upstairs + e COURT fees. in e end it will only b e neighbour upstairs n both parties lawyers laughing at U. -
maybe you can try going to the library or maybe changi airport to study,those places will be more quiet,anyway...good luck for your exams...
