Most of these symptoms have to be present for more than 2 weeks before you can officially be diagnosed as having depression. If sucidal thoughts appear, you are in very depressed mood. DO seek consultation. Doctors in clinics may be able to help. If you notice and worry that you might have such conditions, do go out and do exercises! It'll help boost your antioxidants and pump your adrenaline. Those will help your moods to go up. As mentioned, if still does not work after 2 weeks or symptoms continue to persist, get help. Helplines might be able to help too. Try to get someone who is a professional because a friend will have too much to feel about. tat time was really very depression n actually have lots of negative thinking including death is a possible solution but is being very inresponsible too. den keep thinking a lot too.. lots of negative views. even my frds also ask if i'm alright n ask if i need to go for some consulation cos sometime i really do weird thing by staring blank at my cupboard.
but after a change in work environment with friends whom are much more nicely, trustable and friendly, being able to communicate with my parents, parents start to show more concern towards me n start hanging out more often with frds during the weekend..
i seem to be a much happier person now.. though i sometime still think bout of negative stuffs and complain bout life.
so do i consider suffer depression before? and if i do, am i really alright now?
I guess this is not about being in depression now. It is abt the way you choose to think about things. Like me, You are obviously a person who is easily influenced by others and the environment. However, I am beginning to realise that people and environment changes consistently and you cannot be in control of it. Hence, everytime you get affected by it you may choose to move to another place and this process may go on and on. The pattern becomes obvious that unless you change yourself, you probably won't be happy. You sound like you may be suffering from some form of depression. please seek some assistance so that you can gain control over your mood again and you can stop feeling the way you do now. I know how lousy it feels to be like that. go talk to someone, someone qualified, please see your doctor, he/she can give you some simple medication to just help with your anxiety and help you relax.
