Sean King of
Salem-News.com reports that a video entitled
"Cradle of Filth - My Humps" — one of the many so-called "Sync Vids" on
YouTube where a song is placed over a mismatched music video in attempt to have
the words and mouths sync — today stands at more than 285,000 views,
and has an unusually high view to comment ratio with over 1,700 text
comments from other
YouTube users. This is just one example of how anyone can become popular among the
YouTube community.
This
particular video has been added to a number of other websites. It is
downloadable on the Internet, it is mentioned under Parodies on the
Wikipedia page for the
BLACK EYES PEAS song
"My Humps", and it even spawned the fan art section of the
CRADLE OF FILTH MySpace page.
