then it'll be a killer moshpit
yup, substation is next to the asian civilization museum, if you know where the old national library or mph is, it's just 30m down the road.
i have been to the substation a few times. in the guiness theatre, you definitely cannot mosh, it's too damn small and pack. the venue is more for talks and drama or dance. however, you get ringing in your ears for sure after the gig.
actually, never heard of them before, but thanks for the intro.
aww... c'mon.. when i was in Melbourne about 15 years ago, there was a mini-pit in a pub!!

i know the folks there will get creative, but the theatre has got elevated seat, stadium style, so it will be a challenge. and i doubt the theatre can accomodate 800pax. it is a strange venue indeed.
a fun thing will be perhaps to get to row 13 and mosh your way down...
i was talking to a friend and he told me, they dont expect a huge turn out... thats why the venue, as they lost much of their fan base.
Good luck to those going later!
