errr a7x and trivium and the likes are not metal bands...
firstly, they dun have pre-pubescent pimply teenaged girls as their fans..
secondly, they do not even carry heavy riffs or massive double pedalling..
thirdly, they get so much exposure to the mainstream via commercials and MTV
lastly, they do not have stupid names like Zacky Vengeance, mr Shadows, BlueWhale etc...

i mean why must have nicknames? for the "cool" factor" i guess...i used to listen to A7X right back when they started in 2004..when they had their first release..beast and the harlot i think..i find it very good..in fact, i almost bought their album..then, after Bat Country was MTV..even my 14 year old female braces-wearing pimply cousin was like telling me how awesome A7x is and how she swoons over Zacky vengeance... -_-"

i used to enjoy a7x as well,but after i got my hands on other genres of metal,i started to realise that a7x and identical bands are simply shit.
and @topic: i'm currently into depressive suicidal black metal.and btw listening to this doesnt mean you are a emo.Emos are fags who put stupid eyeliners and cry over trivial matters.and of course,they dont even understand the concept of slitting of wrists.
