  Mayhem Members Arrested In Holland For Trashing Hotel Room

  

  Members of the legendary Norwegian black metal band Mayhem and their road crew were arrested in the Netherlands early this morning after the entire contents of their hotel room in Tilburg had been destroyed.

  The group had given a performance on Sunday in a cafe in Tilburg and had booked a night at Hotel Central. Monday morning an employee of the hotel found a big mess. Plants were thrown on the street, mirrors, a sink were broken and strips in the bathroom were pulled off and demolished. The beds and television were destroyed and walls were covered in spots.

  The hotel estimates the damage at least 5000 euro. The men, aged 21 to 45 years, are from Netherlands, Norway, Finland and France. The suspects remain tied to a compensation of the damage dealt.

  demolishing a hotel room seems so childish..

  but then, this is a band where Dead killed himself... then rumours of Euronymous eating Dead's brain and making a necklace out of Dead's skull..

  then Euronymous getting murdered by Varg Vikernes of Burzum.. because Varg was jealous that Euronymous had a reputation of being "more evil" than him...

  i just find it damned immature of the bands.. and maybe black metal itself..

  so demolishing a hotel room.. just adds makes their band look even more silly

  .....I read about all this stuffs from a book(forgot the title) which I borrowed from a friend who is sick crazy in Black Metal
