Kota Raya and Larkin Terminal are 2 diff bus terminal in JB
They are served by 2 diff Sv 170 buses
170 Red Plate serves Queen St - Kranji - Larkin
170 Blue Plate serves Kranji - Kora Raya
160 serves Jurong East - Kranji - Kota Raya -
1 ) Is Kota Raya the same place as Larkin interchange?????
- Larkin should be further up
4 ) From ur itinerary I dun see the the point as in taking the bus from JB custom to Kota Raya. How much would we save???? And the hassle of boarding the bus again and end up taking a cab from Kota Raya to HP.
And the same goes for the return trip??? - If we can just get off at the JB side, we can always get down and take a cab to Holiday Plaza
~ Cab to Kota Raya.
~ Waiting for bus to leave for sg.
~ board the bus.
~ End up alighting at JB custom to pass through custom.
Or would U pefer a Direct straight Cab to JB Custom????
- Actually up till now i don't know why people ask me to drop at kota raya~! someone just said bus from point A to B. So i thought die die must take from point A to B. But if we can just do it like I used to do... i don't think it should be that 'complicated'. Last i remembered was:
take bus from checkpoint
take cab to location
take cab from location to checkpoint
take bus back across
6 ) A location and timing for those who stilll may be driving into JB to meetup for the meals
- We'll start dinner at around 1800hrs
7 ) Sg1 and I will meet up with u at the ICA clearance counter on the second floor
- you want to meet us at woodlands checkpoint carpark?
8 ) We are not going to do any illegal activity like the one that u mentioned

meet at Singapore Customs.
take bus to JB customs.
take cabs to holiday plaza.
settle whatever we gotta do there.
take cabs back to checkpoint.
take bus across.
go home.
Simple enough? -
Tentative Itinerary:
Meetup at 1400hrs at Kranji MRT for those without private transport. 1415hrs at Woodlands Checkpoint carpark (KFC) for those with private transport.
the Bear will be the one to follow at Kranji, the drivers will meet me (kopi) at woodlands checkpoint.
Take bus 170, wait for everyone after Singapore's Departure immigration clearance at the bus waiting area...
Drop off at JB checkpoint. Take cabs to Holiday Plaza.
1st Stop : Holiday Plaza - Shopping / Pedi, Mani, simi cure commences. Please order the DVDs and get them to deliver to your place.
2nd Stop : Makan (tentatively, Big Horse Garden, nearby mah) - SUGGESTIONS WELCOMED
2200-2300 : Take cab to checkpoint and head home
