the total attendance was 8.
knowing that the initial list showed a total of 14, estee made an effort to book two rooms, each having the capacity to accommodate around 9-10 persons.
a simple calculation will tell you that we dont need two rooms to run today's event. one is more than enough.
frankly, we dont mind lesser people attending such outing. afterall, its easier to organise and operate on a smaller group. but in this particular scenario, the presence of you and your three other friends does make a difference when it comes to room allocation.
do you know that all 8 of us were running from room to room like mamasan and papasan, for the sake of utilising two rooms? we cant cancel the other room as we only found out of your absence after the karaoke started.
yes. it is true that you posted in this thread saying that you cant attend, but how friendly was your notice?
it was a saturday afternoon's event and you gave notice on a saturday morning saying that you cant make it, in the forum? none of us was around to read the thread!
you could have just made a simple phone call or even sms any one of us (yes, all of us has a handphone. in fact, dotsg has got two handhones).
if u dont have our number (which i doubt so), its not too hard to find out, considering that we are not new forumites to you.
as i mentioned earlier over the phone, its not about the money. we have the money. the most each of us fork out $5-$10 more. thats not even enough for my one-day cigarettes supply.
fly aeroplane on us anytime, if its outings like sentosa, but not outings like karaoke.
btw, whatever wrote above was not only meant for you, but also to those who has the tendency to fly people aeroplane.
