actually, thinking about siblings, mom thinks my sister also "don't know how to think"... but in my sis's own way, she thinks more and better than my mom.. and in that, my mom seems so immature when analysed...
mostly, my sister, like me, is trying to live her life the way she would want to... without folks interfering, nosing in, passing comments and all that just because my sister seek to walk a different path from what my folks would say is "the correct way"...
and it sucks! because between my sister and myself, we have suffered a lot (my sister more as she is elder) under this type of oppressive interference...
what is their "correct way" may be dead wrong for us... just like it is for my sister.. trying to force her to further her studies actually made her reject that idea totally... only recently did she tell me that she wanted to.. in her time and not what they wanted her to do.. but because of their pressure, what was essentially her idea before the pressure started, became something oppressive and not her own anymore.. so she never did...
my folks never learnt what my sis and i knew instinctively... to let go and give unconditional love, letting children who have grown up live their lives without interference...
so, "don't know how to think" may not be... it may be that they are struggling to live life on their own terms, so that their lives have some meaning to and for themselves...
i know... it is a daily struggle in my household...
