  hmm...not bad. we heard some sharing of testimony of ex-gays and how they got out of homosexuality. pastor went through some biblical references on how God forbid same sex union and also we refresh our memory in the first book of the Bible (Genesis) that God created Adam and Eve (man and woman) and not man-man, woman-woman, not even humans-beast, adult-child....all other forms of sexual relations are detestable in His eyes.
  
  We also talk about understanding the agony of homosexuals. Embrace them and yet not compromising their sin. There are channels in which they can be helped PROVIDED they are willing to receieve help. hmmm.....we always emphasise that there is hope to get out of homosexuality and the myth that they are genetically made that way and its helpless is unacceptable.
  
  The Christian stands (at least for my church) is that we do not compromise with the sin but at the same time we extend our hearts out to them and regard them as human just like us and not like any sub-human or alien. we treat them with respect and give them equal chance.

  but is it really a myth? we've all heard of hermaphrodites, siamese twins, pple with 6 fingers, and the rest of it.
  
  i guess u, and most christians, stand on the side that they are gay BY CHOICE. and becos of that, if they recognise their sin, they CAN change. that, i beg to differ.
  
  i suppose if i were to suddenly turn gay, the MOST i can do is not to be involved in sinful sexual relns. but i cannot stop myself from being attracted to men.

  hmm..i guess there's gonna be no end to the discussion because we r not in the same belief system. homosexuality is more than a physical disorder...there is something spiritual to it and i shall not say more.
