The ones at Gelang Patah couldn't even be bothered to hawk their service. Most of the time they gather at the taxi parking lots which is facing the main road or the public toilet rather...
In the evening, if our bus happened to be late in arrival and we're all hanging around waiting, even then the taxi drivers remain oblivious of us. It seems that the station serves as a resting or "lepak" place for them. -

The road tax is so low, RM150 a year
Then buses, frequency like 15-30 mins, or 30-90 mins for Kampung areas
Even if 1 operator give new buses, rest are not doing it... 1 man show cannot work -

As for kampong roof buses, you can see them around the bus stop at CS. I have noticed they post Tun Aminah and Duty Free Complex on the screen. unsure which place the bus is heading, because one is at the West side, while the other is at the East side.
Advice you to ask the driver personally. -

Yes, there are buses. You can board at them at the bus stop opposite City Square. Bus services are 225, 18 and 18A. If your destination is Ros Merah section, you can take 39, 133, 133A, 138, 140, 200, 200A, 208, 224 and 504. I haven't took a bus to there before, can't comment much on bus fare. Ros Merah is situated between Giant Plentong and Carrefour, that is, the bus fare is RM 1.80 (subject to change). If your destination is not at Ros Merah section, please take 225, 18 or 18A only.
Taxi wise, it will be more than RM 10, can't tell you the exact fare. Please ask for the meter to be turned on. -

It's still best to insist on using the meter. Rates are still better in most cases unless you get stuck in a jam. Anyway, I saw this link about a Nakiwa working together with AirAsia to set up a new bus service between Singapore and Senai Airport.

I know this has been shot down before by the Singapore authorities before, but if it is approved, it'll be really great since it will be viable to finally set up international routes from Senai.
I'm not against the idea of an alternative International Airport serving Singapore. It's something like in NYC where 3 airports serve it and they're further from the city centre than in our situation. -

today took the buses to Tmn U...
wth.. saw a gloomy 331, (me and my partner) decided to skipped it, wait wait hwait, another 331 comes, still we decided to skipped it, hoping for 226A or 503.. had bad experiences on Transitlink Svcs.
then after another round of waiting, we gave up and decided top board even if 331 comes.. fine.. then another 331 comes, but chiong straight towards City Square, never turn left at indian temple.. !! then finally, after 45mins, board a super stuffy 331 and was a bad ride!
when came back, Triton 503 also pulls up
note: RM2.80 for sv331, RM2.60 for sv503 (i threw $M5.60 on both occasions)
yeah.. also saw the kampong roof HI bus.. quite nice looking.. i saw its posts such as "Plaza Angsana Danga Bay etc" and a big BANDARAYA sign as well..

If you're adding the Airport Express service, maybe can also add the MAS SPS buses.. If I'm not mistaken there are 2.
