As far as I know, Maju service 262 does not come to Tuas anymore, not sure whether it's still operating in JB.Originally posted by surfbabe:Can anyone confirm if 262 is still running? In other words, are there any M'sian buses plying the 2nd link route?
That came from the TMO era. Maju buses now have gone OMO. When I last visited JB in late 1999, the company was in the process of conversion to OMO. Some routes still had conductors, others were already equipped with consoles.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:

CW3 and CW4 of Handal Indah will ply the 2nd link very soon. Both services will be from Jurong East interchange.

If anyone happens to be around Jurong East station today, please help me look out for the new Causeway Link buses (CW3/4) and let me know if they're running.
Thanks!
ok, will take noteOriginally posted by The_Bus_Guide:The next time you go to JB, Larkin in particular, do look out for Causeway Link's latest Mercedes bus! And I'm not talking about the short one. It's an 11m bus. I saw it when I went there last week. Rego was JHQ 4477 or something like that. I spotted 5 buses.
I thought Triton's short-haul operations were in the Klang valley only? When did they venture into JB as well? How much do they charge? Some of their KL routes charge 50c flat rates.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:Triton 502: JB <-> TUTA

What model was it?Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:The next time you go to JB, Larkin in particular, do look out for Causeway Link's latest Mercedes bus! And I'm not talking about the short one. They have been operating in Johor Bahru since last year. I haven't take Triton buses before.Originally posted by iveco:I thought Triton's short-haul operations were in the Klang valley only? I don't know the exact model except thet its a Mercedes-Benz. I will try to get the VIN next time and refer it to the experts for identification.Originally posted by iveco:What model was it?
Causeway Link, they have buses to Ayer Hitam right?Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Today I wanted to try Causeway Link's new Mercedes bus. Unfortunately, I spotted only 2 buses. One was off service and the other was on sv. 333 which goes to Senai Airport. Since I don't have time for such a long journey, I had to be content with taking photos of it. It was a Brazilian chassis as identified by the VIN on JHN 6095 (9BM382188-3B-353419).
Yah, 888 or 777 if I am wrong.Originally posted by sbst275:Causeway Link, they have buses to Ayer Hitam right?
Launched since mid year, I think.Originally posted by sbst275:Maju has new buses now
Uses Hinos
42 seats, 18 standing
But that's the minorityOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:Launched since mid year, I think.
Some use conductors, others OMO.
Usually on 224, 227 and 208.
Better than all old fleets. I believed that Maju has gone FAC in Johor Bahru area. But their ( older fleets ) aircon system..........Originally posted by sbst275:But that's the minority
