No... Sv 227 still have NAC buses seenOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:Better than all old fleets. I believed that Maju has gone FAC in Johor Bahru area. But their ( older fleets ) aircon system..........
Hmm, maybe its just the minority. 225 also have some new fleets.Originally posted by sbst275:No... Sv 227 still have NAC buses seen
Trition??? It looks old but similiar to Causeway Link in maintenance... Causeway Link buses looks like getting worstOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:Hmm, maybe its just the minority. 225 also have some new fleets.
Took triton buses for the first time today, inside also have tv ( lcd ones ), playing Chinese, English and Malay MTVs. With update on the bus route info ( "Bas lima kosong empat, melalui Pandan, Carrefour......Terima kasih")
Never mind the external appearance, the internal of CW and Triton looked very clean, no litter at all. Older maju and transit link buses got their seats either remove, vandalised, torn or scratched, and never repair. Don't say about wasing their buses, perhaps only during raining.Originally posted by sbst275:Trition??? It looks old but similiar to Causeway Link in maintenance... Don't have.Originally posted by 5454:is there any service Guides for the johor Bahru bus routes and is there any websites for the JB buses

Alec Bus Company Sdn. Bhd. 30 sen
Causeway link buses used OMO system with tickets dispending machine that produced tickets about the same size of SG bus tickets.Originally posted by sbst275:FYI, SJE still uses the punch - hole type of ticket
Hmm... What abt CW1/ CW2? OMO?
Or Sv 160/ 170 when paying at JB? As payment is in RM (Same amt as SG fare like here is S$0.80, there is RM0.80)
Then why Kranji have ppl selling ticket (Think no more liao)? Queen St also I think for CW2Originally posted by PJ_Quek:Causeway link buses used OMO system with tickets dispending machine that produced tickets about the same size of SG bus tickets.
160/170 payment 80 sen in MY side.
I have no idea why Kranji there got people sell ticket, but I believed that it is better to purchase the CW tickets on the bus.Originally posted by sbst275:Then why Kranji have ppl selling ticket? Queen St also I think for CW2
Ya... Because those days, SGD and MYR rate almost the same in 1980's
Then SBS payment in cash, then it is OMO lah... But is there a ticket - seller as it is collecting RM?Originally posted by PJ_Quek:I have no idea why Kranji there got people sell ticket, but I believed that it is better to purchase the CW tickets on the bus.
The man sitting @ the table is for coin exchange, paper notes into coins. Tickets is purchased on the bus.Originally posted by sbst275:Then SBS payment in cash, then it is OMO lah... But is there a ticket - seller as it is collecting RM?
I see... Because RM1.00 is only in notes right???Originally posted by PJ_Quek:The man sitting @ the table is for coin exchange, paper notes into coins. Tickets is purchased on the bus.
I mean the person @ the Kranji MRT there, he is exchanging SGD notes into SGD coins. I didn't see any such coin exchanging services in JB checkpoint, but as in Kotaraya Ter, I am not sure about that.Originally posted by sbst275:I see... Because RM1.00 is only in notes right???
Wow! Cash box is mix of RM and SGD
OK... I seeOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:I mean the person @ the Kranji MRT there, he is exchanging SGD notes into SGD coins. I didn't see any such coin exchanging services in JB checkpoint, but as in Kotaraya Ter, I am not sure about that.
