for malacca, you can join a tour group..
if you want to take buses there by yourself, there are express buses operating from Singapore (Golden Mile/ Kallang) to Malacca.
takes about 3 hours.
fares about S$26 (to malacca) and RM26 for the return journey..
malacca things are not cheap, and theres nothing much to see, except the historical places, such as the Statutes (red houses) and some churches and such

Express bus from Larkin is RM14.60 per way per pax. Tickets are hotcakes in Melaka Sentral, buy earlier for the return ticket to JB or SG. I happened to fail to get the ticket, end up got to take another bus to Kluang (via Muar) and followed by another bus to JB. LOL!!

Main shopping centres are Soon Seng Plaza (electronics/pirated vcds), Ocean, Mahkota Parade (Parkson/Giant/Cinema), Tesco (opposite Melaka Sentral), Jusco (Ayer Keroh). -

CW1 operating time from JB checkpoint is between 430am and 1115pm.

Larkin to Pasir Gudang (svc 55) : RM 4.00 -
today took HI 22 from Jusco.
the 22 was a City Tram bus (JHX 7884) charged RM1.80 only
for the trip to Jusco, 123 charged RM2.20.. but very good AC

the bus may not have any service number.. alternatively, sv170 from JB customs also brings you to Larkin. -

SV 101 outside Pelangi Pleasure Mall.....waited for more than an hour.....turns out theres only one bus in the whole frickin service....too bad no more Johore Discovery bus anymore...*sigh*

Hi Im going to Tebrau city. taking either these buses 18,20,41,77,227 from city squre opposite bus stops. Just check what are the fares. and if i wan to return back to city squre from tebrau city where is the bus stop. From what i read it seems there are no official bus stop for going back to city square.
