is it true that in some suburb areas in jb, there are no designated bus stops and you can board and alight any buses wherever you like. i've seen buses just stop at any location to alight the passenger after the passenger presses the door bell..or is there really designated bus stops but there are no bus stands -

As for return route, it depends on the bus driver.
Permas Jaya is regarded as East side, East side buses ( ie 10, 22 and 123 )don't stop at Kota Raya, only West side buses does. -
notice the return trip of svc 170 from larkin terminal makes 3 flyovers at the junction of jln tun abd razak and jln halimah, actually all it needs is just to turn left

also, anyone noticed many 170 or 160 drivers sometimes after leaving the JB checkpoint (towards JB direction) they used a different route from the designated route? that is 170 red plate uses jalan tun abdul razak insitad of the designated lalan linkaram karam.. those to kota raya also pass by city square instead of via johor zoo ( jalan gertak merah) -

yesterday i went duty free. the bus ride frm bandar to there cost only RM1.10. 10 sen increase only. ok lar. if u guys got any updated price for other routes pls post here let us c lor. thanks hor. ciao.

Taman University ( about 20km away ) is situated near UTM ( University Teknologi Malaysia ), on the way to Pontian / Kukup.
Skudai is the area, Northwest of JB, Taman University is one of the housing estates there.
East of JB includes Pandan, Masai, Plentong, Pasir Gudang, Ulu Tiram, further up north you will reach Kota Tinggi using route 3.
West of JB includes Tampoi, Kempas, Skudai, Kulai, Senai, further west you will reach Pontian using route 5. -
