PJ is a big area. RM2.50 is referring the price you pay when you take the bus until the PJ Terminal. Going to Jusco PJ from JB is still RM1.90. No, when return, you should wait for the bus at the overhead bridge landing, just beside Jusco. Don't go back to the same old place where you get down from the bus you take from JB. Due to some road curbs, the bus will travel one way when you arrive at Jusco, the buses will use another route went heading to JB. Alternatively, you may like to walk to the carpark behind Jusco, until you reach the Shell Station, around there you will see a coffeeshop, known as Restoran Kok Hoow or Kedai Kopi Kok Hoow, wait a the roadside, just beside the Jusco carpark and opposite Kok Hoow for the bus to JB.
Bus drivers would prefer to use Jalan Lingkaran Dalam, followed by Jalan Ayer Molek and enter the city at the post office there. After the post office, the bus will procced to opposite Caltex bus stop, a.k.a bus stop BESIDE City Square, this bus stop is for Eastern buses. ( Note that PJ is located in the Eastern side )
As for the bus stop opposite City Square, I assumed the one along Jalan Wong Ah Fook ( the one way street ), NOT the one between KTM and Caltex right? Well, that bus stop is for the Western side buses. So, you won't be able to take buses to PJ from there. Unless, the PJ bus enters JB directly thru Caltex, and make a right turn at Jalan Stesen ( in front of KTM ), thus, the PJ bus will end up in Jalan Wong Ah Fook, where the Western bus stop is located. But better don't try your luck there, should go to the Eastern bus stop instead.
As for buses heading to Larkin, the bus drivers can choose to call along either the Eastern or the Western bus stop. -

All bus will call along Jalan Wong Ah Fook ( the one way street beside City Sq )

Now left 4 bus stops in JB town, Post Office, Jalan Ungku Puan ( Indian temple ), Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Kotaraya.

Latest developments according to Nanyang Siang Pau
Jalan Tun Abdul Razak ( between Jalan Tebrau and Persiaran Tun Sri Lanang ) has turned in 6 lanes single direction.
Jalan Stesen ( the road in front of the railway station, in perpendicular with Jalan Tun Abdul Razak ), all vehicles travelling on either direction on Jalan Stesen will have to drive at the right side of the road, instead of left side previously. -
Handal Indah provides a 1 sheet guide of the landmarks along the route with photos. Obtainable onboard those new kampong roof air-suspended automatic M-B bus-chassi (i suspect is IBC 1725) or @ their Larkin ticketing booth.
Now promotional fare is RM 1.50 instead from JB City Square to Eden Garden Hotel. Noted response so far quite good i.e. quite full mostly !

When would it be launched ?
Handal Indah's latest name card shows CW3 yet i don't find it anywhere in JB or Singapore ! Even their own ticketing counter staff doesn't know much ! -

But i see the CW3 printed on their latest name card alongside the promotions for the CW1, CW2 & JB-KL routes.
Maybe they want to give higher prority to their local Malaysian routes 1st before CW3 while maybe they still observing the response to SBST 160 route.
I've been using their CW2 quite many times i find the frequency OK i.e. as frequent if not more frequent than SJE, their most direct competitor.
They have the advantage of CW1 @ the Causeway so one can take CW1 across the Causeway instead of waiting for CW2 before switching back to CW2 @ the Causeway to Larkin.
SBST 170 frequency may seem more but i note mostly only for short trips to Kranji MRT station only, of no use for people going to Ban San terminal !!

Nope... CW3 uses 2nd Link (Proposed to be) charging S$/ RM 3.00 per trip
Anyway... They used to do is that CW1 runs the JB leg, while CW2 runs bet Queen St - Woodlands (Loop)
If you want to go to CBD, dun take 170... 170 is mainly taken by those going to Kranji or to WDL Rd those factories
