I have 2 TOMICA buses; the Mitsubishi Fuso (#79) and the Isuzu Super Hi-Decker (#41). I also have a worn out CORGI Daimler Fleetline. Check out the model shop at Suntec. They have a nice collection of Siku models. I bought a Gelenkbussen (#1612), which is most probably a MAN NG312, for $11. There's also a MAN Lion Star coach. If you're in JB, there's a shop called Toy City at Plaza Kotaraya. I bought a Mercedes Travego for RM19.90.Originally posted by Acx1688:I too have been searchin for Matchbox London Bus #74 but when i went to the website(www.matchbox.com) it's no more in the line up...

That's because the Olympian's design was based on the Titan. The Titan was launched in 1975. It came with an integral bodywork and proved not to be very popular with the operators who prefer to have standing connections with their specific body builders. Hence, a new project, codenamed B55, was launched to design a new model with advanced features of the Titan. The project was unveiled at the 1980 Commercial Motor Show and the chassis was given the name 'Olympian'. The Olympian turned out to be Leyland's most successful model with more than 30,000 units sold worldwide. In fact, if not for the Olympian, Leyland would've been ruined well bofore the Volvo takeover in 1985.Originally posted by JJxJJ:matchbox - 1981 Leyland Titan ..looks like a LO2X
I'd prefer buying the SBST models in singapore.Originally posted by sbst275:Actually, Hong Kong is a better place to shop... There are many shops selling these including SBS models... Actually, the then Tibs had wanted to introduce the Habit model
In 2 shops where I saw the twin-pack for sale, they were priced at S$130. Obviusly, the shops, be it in Hong Kong or S'pore, are selling for a profit. They cost S$98 if you buy them directly from SBS Transit.Originally posted by service_238:I'd prefer buying the SBST models in singapore.
convert those in HK to SG dollars will cost u S$132 for the twin pack in hong kong compared to S$98 in singapore.
which part of SG can u buy SBST Models?Originally posted by service_238:I'd prefer buying the SBST models in singapore.

As previously mentioned, the SBS Transit Superbus Commemorative Models Pack can be purchased directly from SBS Transit at its HQ, and I believe at some of the stations along NEL and bus interchanges (a friend of mine bought one at Tampines Interchange). They will be priced at $98 for a twin pack.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:which part of SG can u buy SBST Models?
How am i going to give them the email?I dunno their email adress...Originally posted by Superbus:As previously mentioned, the SBS Transit Superbus Commemorative Models Pack can be purchased directly from SBS Transit at its HQ, and I believe at some of the stations along NEL and bus interchanges (a friend of mine bought one at Tampines Interchange). You can also purchase it at Nikko Stores, located at Suntec City Mall, HarbourFront Mall, Wisma Atria and Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departure Transit Lounge. They are priced at a hefty $132 per twin pack.
So go for SBS Transit. Give them a mail or a call.
The email address as well as their hotline number is easily available on their website.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:How am i going to give them the email?I dunno their email adress...
