Meanwhile, taking 950 advantage is, no need to squeeze like hell, just like 170, although, I strongly agree that 170 has more buses than 950. Last week, I went to Malaysia, when I came back, I decided to take 950. However there is no 950 around, so I decided to squeeze 170. Just then, I saw 950 behind, so I decided to take 950, to avoid the squeeze. At that time, I saw only 5 people queueing up in the 950 queue. Yes, it was 5 people.
950 had to increase it's fleet, or else people in JB Chkpt, usually won't choose which company's bus, they will be which bus comes first, as they wanted to get to Singapore as fast as possible. SMRT better have to take note of this, or else they will lose out.
950 should follow the fare stages of 170, between Kota Raya Terminal and Woodlands Checkpoint. Please ask SMRT these questions, "How to win the competition if your fares are higher than your competitor?" and "How to snatch more customers when you have less buses than your competitors?"

Last Thursday to Monday, SBS deployed all 60 JB MKIII to Sv 160/ 170/ 170X... Frequency was @ 1.75 mins... Otherwise it is abt 52 buses
950 frequency @ 10 mins, it would have a poor bussiness like CW1... CW1 worst, $1.00 cash when by card on 170 is just $0.58
