I have seen this bef on Sv 700, 853... Best on Sv 700 as it was opened when the bus chiong @ BKE and PIE

I ever had this experience of taking a bus with its aircon TOTALLY not working. You can imagine how humid and stuffy it was like inside the bus and the only ventilation was some small openings on top of the bus, which I think were quite useless. This happened not once but several times. These are times whereby I think all of us would really like to see such cheapskate job where the windows could be opened, and not using some stupid hammers to break the windows!!Originally posted by sbst275:Another cheapskate job by the co...

But then on most of the times, if you open, you are paying AC fares... But the SMRTB 0405 CAC aircon are very poor... Ive taken 853 before.. the reason that ppl open the window is because... inside the bus.. the bus is so HOT and stuffy.. thats is why ppl open the window.. this way.. at least... there are some cool air coming into the bus.. if not.. why must we pay the aircon fare when we are not enjoying the aircon.. ??

Because the aircon outlet is very small and only at 2 location... Hmm, I once encountered a BC who encouraged passenger to call sbst hq to complain about the poor air conditioning, which the passenger really did. The Companies are like that.. when the Drivers complain.. they will not do anything..(To them.. everything is fine as long as the bus still can runs smoothly..) The thing is when a passenger complains.. the companies will quickly recall their buses back and to do something about it..
