This is so as the usage of 82 is relatively low during peak hours and this may provide the opportunity to "rejuvinate" the route. Demand should be high as no buses in the serangoon, kovan and hougang could go to yishun.
A feeder bus should operate from Punggol Int to Punggol Road End as I often see empty buses from the punggol rd end to the NEL station so the freq could be put higher.

SMRT 854: Bedok Hougang Ave 2/3 Yishun
Should need more buses, because Hougang Central don't have bus to Yishun, wonder why 965 don't extend to Hougang Central, serving HG Ave 6 and Buangkok, currently only 27 serves the whole ave 6. -

965 will not serve Hougang Central...they already operate in Sengkang which is a SBST territory...they can operate in 2 of their territories and only one in its competitor's territory.

sv82 is a MUST stay route without amendments coz it's the only link to Punggol Rd End(old Punggol Terminal)one of the last bastions of serene nad quietness in Singapore
in addition to serving the many schools in the area. Ridership is above average, sometimes crowded...
