TAP also... Peak hr very hard to parkOriginally posted by iveco:I'd stay clear of Clementi Interchange for now. It is very cramped and has little shelter. The route managerdoesn't even have a proper office as it is in a container beside the parking area. Wonder when will it ever be upgraded.

- Toa Payoh (Itz okay lar.. but then.. during Peak Hours... the FeederBus Section there very hard to find parking space..)
- Hougang (Peak Hours will be HELL.. after closing of Hougang South Int.. this Int is so pack.. i've seen BCs going round the Int 3 times before he finally got a parking space.. Hope that they'll expand that Interchange..)
A mistake to close HGN South. Should have downgraded it to a similar status as YCK instead. 132 should have been left untouched.Originally posted by sBs_boy:- Clementi (Worst Interchange in Singapore..)

Iveco, I have said this bef... It YCK is closed, many rts will be affected... Sv 13, 72, 76, 162 will be affectedOriginally posted by iveco:A mistake to close HGN South. Should have downgraded it to a similar status as YCK instead. 132 should have been left untouched.
Open your eyes lah. I said that it was a mistake to close HGS, not YCK. If SBST can give HBF (its rather ill-deserved) interchange status, it can demote HGS to that of a terminal.Originally posted by sbst275:Iveco, I have said this bef... Hougang Sth has been ripped off its Bus Int Office, Toliet and Canteen... Bay Berth is now a CarParkOriginally posted by leeJZ:Whats the point of demoting it to a terminal? Well, 115 is operating from there now. If SBST had left 132 untouched, there wouldn't be any real need for 115. 112 & 113 should be townlinks instead.Originally posted by leeJZ:Whats the point of demoting it to a terminal? Why? 132 does not ply Hougang Ave 3.Originally posted by iveco:Well, 115 is operating from there now. If SBST had left 132 untouched, there wouldn't be any real need for 115. 112 & 113 should be townlinks instead.
Iveco, you better come back and take a look @ Hougang Sth now.... The office, toilet and canteen has been demolished... The bays are now car park lotsOriginally posted by iveco:Well, 115 is operating from there now. Then 115 park where?Originally posted by sbst275:Iveco, you better come back and take a look @ Hougang Sth now.... The office, toilet and canteen has been demolished... The bays are now car park lots
It parks at the bus park, at the half of the int that was left untouched. The wing that was turned into a carpark was the side of the single-service berths.Originally posted by iveco:Then 115 park where?
They park @ the feeders... At the side... It's best you come back and see... There are small units @ the former concourse... There is a bus stop nearer to the food centreOriginally posted by iveco:Then 115 park where?
I think the introduction of 115 has got nothing to do with 132. As some of you might have mentioned in other threads, 115 is more likely to recover the lost link between ave 3 and hg food centre when 151 and 51 were amended when hg south interchange closed down. Something to add about the current Kovan City, I think there might be 1 or 2 new services being introduced there. Bus parking lots, think there are 3, have been marked out on the side where the current bus stop is. Before 115 started service, I thought that they might be used by the service but apparently I was wrong.Originally posted by iveco:Well, 115 is operating from there now. As for why 132 was amended (i still feel it will be better if it was extended to serangoon then), I think that it might be because, WITHIN HOUGANG, 112 is there to cover the lost route between ave 2 and the food centre. What I really hate is that the link between Kovan and amk is lost. Even though there is 136, it takes a longer time to reach there.
As for 112 and 113 being townlinks, I fully agree. But if I were to see it from another point of view, it doesn't really matter whether both of them are townlinks, especially 113. Who will take 113 from the area in hg central to ave 1? For me, I would rather take 87/151/51 and walk, or 62. Not only it is faster, it is also cheaper (no student fares or concessions please). So it doesn't really matter if 113 is a trunk, feeder or townlink service. Same with 112, nobody will take it from the interchange to hg north. I will rather take other services like 72, 74, 325, 147, 101 etc. Anyway, 112 and 113 are like feeders to me if I were to take them from Kovan City. I still pay feeder fares and still enjoy most parts of the former feeders routes. This being said, I would not take them from the interchange if I were to go to parts of hg beyond Kovan City or vice versa.
These are only my humble opinions. You might disgree with me.
