I dunno whether has this topic been started or not so i just posted it here..
I notice that some SMRT bus services deserve bendies but actually they don't have bendy buses. 1 of them is 171. 171's journey can be very long, it passes thru orchard area and sometimes the MB O405 & Dennis Lance buses can be packed full of people especially around the Far East Plaza that area. Svc 190 also deserves full bendies cos even with bendies, it can be also packed full of people. I'm not so sure of whether the rest of SMRT bus service do/don't deserve bendies but i will update if i noe more abt it. Anyone of you here have different views of it can share it over here. Thanks!

to be frank, these 2 services i never take it b4. 985 & 855 are cos of journey very long, but as for whether a lot of passengers will board these 2 service i do not know cos i never take any of the 2 svcs for a complete journey b4.. this is onli my prediction. If any of you guys here know more abt 985 & 855 can pls tell mi cos i dun really know these 2 svcs well.Originally posted by leeJZ:errr why does 855 985 need bendies??
857 962 969 all do need bendies.
I did saw that 1 before when i was in svc 172 on the way to Boon Lay, along the junction of Choa Chu Kang Road & Lim Chu Kang Road that side, if i remembered correctly. That was a few years ago so i can't remember it very well..Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Svc. 172 used bendy oso. TIB838H

985 I think no need bendies, seldom see a crowded 985. Bendies can be deployed on 855 during weekdays' peak hours, to serve the people between Upp Thomson, Yishun, Bukit Merah and HBF, mainly the working people.Originally posted by icydevilvic88:to be frank, these 2 services i never take it b4. 985 & 855 are cos of journey very long, but as for whether a lot of passengers will board these 2 service i do not know cos i never take any of the 2 svcs for a complete journey b4.. this is onli my prediction. Svc 961 route (according to my Translink Guide 2004) is also very long. I notice that Svc 961 don't deploy those very good buses.. Eg of buses deployed on tat svc are those Scania(common), UDs (sometimes) & Old Mercedes Benz O405 buses if u r lucky to board on it.Originally posted by iveco:What about 961? It is quite a long route. 858 too, if CGA permits.

*points to the 2nd post of this thread*Originally posted by SBS9816E:Look. I dun understand whyu guys wanna talk why this service or that servive deserves / doesn't deserve bendies. Bus operators themself will know what and what not to do to their services. So pls, do not take very strong feelings towards ur opinions about it. In fact, I feel that it's worthless to mention all these things.
