Circular not square.

  There are some mkIV striders with circular aircon outlets.
  I know 2638Z, 1973L are some, but can anyone tell me which other mkIV striders have these?

  I also noticed that. But I didn't take note of their regos. In my opinion, square ones allows less aircon to flow through, compared to circle ones.

  I also like the circular ones more cos they are easier to "control".

  SBS 1905 J and SBS 1994 B both of HGDEP 158 have those aircon vents. A lot of other Striders have them too....

  I dun know, but I think it is becos most live there, and many of the mkIVs are based there.

  almost all service 101 striders are using the circular ones. As for whether is it from HGDEP, I would say yes. Almost all striders which has circular air con vents are from HGDEP services. As for the other Mk4 Striders from other depots, i'm not quite sure but most striders are from HGDEP or BBDEP.

  The outlets are the in-house design of SBST. If you look closely enough you can see "SBS" engraved on it.

  SBS2662C (svc 156) is the first (or among the first) to be retrofitted with circular air-con outlets in mid-2004.
  
  I find the original rectangular A/C outlets more pleasant looking. But the circular ones provide better ventilation, which is esp useful during warm days.
  
  Circular A/C outlets is the pioneer design since the early days and outlive many other new designs. However, I find the outlets for the SMRT Pininfarina O405G working rather well though..
