Those days many JB ppl come to SG to shop simply because things here were much cheaper in 1980'sOriginally posted by SBS3624G:I remember taking 901(currently 911) to causeway, esp when at earlier times the former Woodlands Int was near causeway and the shophouses and market were always bustling and the old svcs 901, 902(now 912), 903, 904, 905 were always packed.
Ah well, why think of this now, it is sad because I will never be able to relieve my childhood as this place has now turned into a ghost town.

I think Johore got too many ports, every 50km, got port! So it makes sense to merge, but I think if the money can be used to subsidise fees, it might work better, we must also not forget Malaysia has a large pool of cheap labour, so if everything goes cheap, we lose.Originally posted by sbst275:But Pasir Gudang Container Operations will move to PTP to make the latter more volumes as it has not been able to attract more customers... Actually, the state govt should do itself a favour by making bus svcs better to attract even those who dun have cars.Originally posted by sbst275:They have neglected the bus services...
