A bit of elaboration on Service 35: It's juz a normal trunk service that skips some sectors of the roads that are of low demand. Hippo Buses are actually a form of sight-seeing tours. It's more or less a packaged tour which brings one around Singapore, and hence would be much expensive. -
CityBuzz services are not rapid services although the buses call at designated stops. The reason why they call at designated stops and not every stops is because not every stop along the routes has places of interests or hotels near it, note that it's a service which caters most to tourists.

I found that you dun get lots of facts right. You may be completely ignorant about some real facts about buses and their operations, hence I would advise u 2 ask some experienced members here. Should it be an opinion, please state it clearly, unless otherwise stated. -
Guys
I m beginning to doubt the commercial viability of the citybuzz services. Many a time, i have seem empty buses cruising w/o much(any) passengers. It would be better if the VSO be deployed to better serve the population at large, I am just wondering how long can it go on? i think it's better to merge C1 & C2. -
somehow they have to improve their frequencies. was at esplanade one day playing amazing race with my frens and we need to go mustafa. encouraged my team mates to take c3 but waiting the bus took quite long.
is the load factor of c3 good? -

One of the bus drivers I spoke to said that the citybuzz services are mainly kept afloat by advertisers, meaning they still turn a profit (revenue from ads) even with empty buses... -

Even with ad revenue... could be just at breakeven, or slightly below. -

I wonder why don't they open another new citybuzz for Malay Village area?
Not logic to miss out Malay Village as City Buzz operates Orchard, Chinatown and Little India.
