That one... You can 13, 16, 31, 36, 55, 76, 135, 196, 197 till Marine Parade Rd (Opp Mandrain Court) or Siglap Rd (For Sv 155 and 16, 36, 55, 76, 135), walk to the expressway sliproad... Service 401 from Bedok interchange is the only bus service to the park. Its Saturday operation hours is from 2pm to 10pm. Since the BBQ starts at 1pm, it's only possible to take this service on the way back.
To get there from the nearest MRT station, simply take service 13 from the bus stop outside Eunos MRT station (along Sims Ave), alight along Marine Parade Rd before Victoria JC (8th bus stop from Eunos MRT station), walk thru Siglap Park Connector (beside Siglap Canal), cross the overhead bridge to get to where pits 28 to 32 are, walk a little further (look out for the directional sign) to get to pit 33.
