I ever heard of passengers urinating inside the bus (Jurong Industrial services). Want to take photos of their action? Don't worry, I am not a dirty-minded guy, I am just making a casual remark.Originally posted by NineGrains:take a picture of those people (catch them in the act!) with your camera phone and send it to bus company concerned.
tip: don't get beaten up, best to do it and alight quickly![]()
Would anybody mask themselves and then vandalise the CCTVs before the bus?Originally posted by iveco:This problem isn't confined to Singapore. Southern Coast Transit in Perth has similar problems. All Transperth buses now have CCTV cameras to catch vandals.
The CCTV camera is located at the FRONT, where the driver is. You seriously think anyone would be so stupid to do that in full view and reach of the driver?Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Would anybody mask themselves and then vandalise the CCTVs before the bus?

The best part is the camera cannot capture the first two rows of seats.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:CCTV in VSOs not really helpful to prevent vandalism. The CCTV in VSOs are good enough to monitor the situation ( people standing or sitting ) in the upper deck, just like the mirror ones in VOs and LOs.
To monitor the vandalism situation, CCTV should be placed right at the back.

I have seen those little red hammers (found only on some smrt buses) that are meant to smash the glass of the emergency exit gone missing.
Not that one can't use shoes or whatever that is handy, but stealing emergency equipment is tantamount to increasing risk to one's life.....like vandalising fire extinguishers or locking the emergency escape doors.
I wonder if these people stop to think or care about other passengers when they do such things.
Yah, light up the lighter for some time, when the head is heated up, pressed them onto the back for the seats.Originally posted by jamz:lighter burn marks too.
and i gotto admit, i stole some bus stickers for fun![]()
i think they are removed only when the buses go for check up/inspection. otherwise the graffiti will remain there.Originally posted by WindyDay:are the vandalised seats, and graffiti repaired/removed within the same month, if not the same week?
if the graffiti dates on the back of seats are to be believed, some have been around for more than 6 months!
Tell that to Transperth. They have many buses with badly-scratched windows.Originally posted by _Aaron_:They are inconsiderate people. Obviously they don't think or care about other passengers. Else why would they spit, piss in the bus just before they're alighting?
Bottom line is, THEY DON"T CARE. That's why its so irritating. These people needs to be slapped on the head.. and face... and caned.
