Vandalism on DDs- VERY IRRITATING!

I have observed that the back seats of the upper level of DDs are always vandalised. Usually some vulgar message or "XX loves YY" or "ZZ was here on " written with correction fluid.
Maybe because that spot offers the most privacy and fewer passengers bother to walk up to upper deck and go all the way to the back.
Sometimes even the seats are slashed with penknives!
This was true on Svcs 74, 14, and 168 which I took last week. (Sorry, didn't note license plates- pissed off already!)
I am not even going to talk about litter (sweet wrappers, tissue) stashed in the narrow gap between the seat and bus frame.
If you want to announce your new girlfriend or boyfriend to the rest of the world (assuming you think other people gives a s**t!).......why don't you use liquid paper and write on your forehead instead! This way when people look at your fat face, they will know you got stead!
Don't vandalise buses....esp those relatively new VSOs!!!!

Indeed. Not to mention those people who spit openly on buses, eat and purposely let the crumbs fall, diliberately throw their tissue and rubbish on the floor, etc.
But what to do? -
take a picture of those people (catch them in the act!) with your camera phone and send it to bus company concerned.
tip: don't get beaten up, best to do it and alight quickly

I ever heard of passengers urinating inside the bus (Jurong Industrial services). Want to take photos of their action? yuck!! has anyone actually sat near a pool of pee in a bus? I have never heard of such things happening (until now), much less sniffed/witnessed it.
I hope it's just one of those crazy rumours....what kind of person (with what kind of education/civil mindedness) actually urinates in a bus????? Hmm.......
if people like that are arrested, they deserve to have their picture appear on the internet, and the front page of New Paper! -
Actually its not juz the DDs, look at the back of the MB0405s, if not getting roasted there is bad enough, one has to face unmentionable words there!
PS: Speaking of vandalism, my house there the lift got very unmentionable stuff written on the door, denouncing our govt! -
This problem isn't confined to Singapore. Southern Coast Transit in Perth has similar problems. All Transperth buses now have CCTV cameras to catch vandals.

Guess they are just a bunch of ;lamers who think the world gives a damn who they love at that current moment.Most probably it wouldn't last, so they choose to immortalise it on the back of a bus seat with correction fluid.Love is like a correction fluid to them, use a new person to cover up for your own flaws and insecurities.

CCTV in VSOs not really helpful to prevent vandalism. The CCTV in VSOs are good enough to monitor the situation ( people standing or sitting ) in the upper deck, just like the mirror ones in VOs and LOs.
To monitor the vandalism situation, CCTV should be placed right at the back. -

I have seen those little red hammers (found only on some smrt buses) that are meant to smash the glass of the emergency exit gone missing.
Not that one can't use shoes or whatever that is handy, but stealing emergency equipment is tantamount to increasing risk to one's life.....like vandalising fire extinguishers or locking the emergency escape doors.
I wonder if these people stop to think or care about other passengers when they do such things. -

88 ADDs' seats got no space for vandalising, now even window also have. -
are the vandalised seats, and graffiti repaired/removed within the same month, if not the same week?
if the graffiti dates on the back of seats are to be believed, some have been around for more than 6 months! -

in short any school service will get their buses vandalised.

Sometimes all the 307 buses got vandalised especially TIB793C.My friends just throw his hamburger wrapper outside the window.
