  Saw MB0405 Volg on 965, CAC MB0405 Hisp on 969 on TPE near Lor Halus exit. Heading towards Pasir Ris, can someone tell me where they are going?

  Service 969 bus was most probably going to Tampines interchange. Was it in service?
  
  Service 965 shouldn't be plying this stretch of TPE. Most probably the Merc Volgren you saw was on services 858 or 969.

  Something else interesting which happened today.
  
  3 410W buses were bunched up around Marymount Lane at around 950pm or Monday morning...all 3 buses were not really full. The buses were still quite a distance away from the interchange...say 8 to 10 mins?
  
  Earlier before that (2 to 3 mins earlier) I caught sight of 2 410W buses bunching up together at Bishan St 22 and Sin Ming Rd...they were separated by just one red light.
  
  What is interesting is that the total number of buses on 410W is 5. Hence, you can imagine if no additional buses are deployed, the frequency of 410W has essentially been screwed. Well...maybe 20 mins or more..
  
  What do you think the drivers or SBS Transit could have done in this circumstances...

  Both buses were empty, and I swear the EDS says 965, and the volgren sports a speeding kills ad. And 858 has MB0405 Volg? I tot 858 only has OAC MB0405s.

  723? replaced 9686M on 89 as bus arriving at 2nd bus-stop aft HG Ctrl Int. The tridents are easily uprooted. At least 3 times a week, 9686M will not appear on 89.

  Yes, service 858 has MB0405 Volgren (cameo or perm?). One of them is 967T, ex service 920.

  There are no perm Volgren bodied 0405s on 858, they are just uncommon cameos, although there have been Volgrens on 858 for the past 3 days...

  850P appeared in place of 9686M on 89 as bus leaving HG Ctrl int at 0620.
  The bus looks spanking new, and it appeared to glow in the dark! The int reeks of paint.

  Hmm.. From what i know so far till now, TIB967T if i'm not wrong, it's still Svc 920 perm. My svc 920 driver friends told me that the despatchers from WLDEP deployed the UDs on svc 920 and 921 (BP Feeder svcs) are just because the fact that SMRT Buses Company just want to cut cost of buying new buses and since CSS also belongs to TIBS (now SMRT Buses), they will just take a few UDs from CSS and put it on revenue svcs once their COEs for these UDs have been renewed. IMO, i think that WLDEP is short of buses and that's why the UDs came in. And SMRT Buses only got limited no. of buses to use and yet they introduced new services.

  But why put the UDs on Bt Panjang feeders?
  
  SMRT only introduced services 950 and 966 for the past 2 years.
