You are referring to Nite Owl service 89M. Why it is called 89M is because both services 89 and 89M have almost the same route from Hougang Ave 10 to Pasir Ris Dr 1 (only difference is service 89 plies Compassvale Rd while service 89M plies Rivervale Dr).Originally posted by tanjun:By the way, bus service 89 does not go to Orchard Road as in 2nd of January 2005. 111 shd merge with 36 => Changi Airport - Ghim Moh
171 shd be shortened to between Yishun - Upp Bt Timah. Theer are other alterntives to Marina Ctr from there. -
Unfortunately, no bus services from Jurong East (I won't count 502, as the fares are way too expensive). I was hoping for a service from Jurong East that can serve Holland Road and Orchard Road, and providing links to other bus services around. (Check my Service 150 request in my thread for more info)

I agree HGN Ave 8 has lost all connections to Centrepoint now. 111, IMO, could have been amended to cover the former 512 route along HGN Ave 8/4/9. At least you can still walk out to Ave 2 and take 132 if you are headed for CK Tang's.
On a side note, 132 & 325 duplicate along Upp Serangoon Rd & HGN Ave 2. Maybe 132 should be restored to its former BMR-KVN route. -

sv111 & sv36 all have their respective commuters and it will wreak havoc on the schedules. btw sv111 is DD, if extended to Changi Airport, it will all be SD!
CANNOT!
sv171 should not be shortened to Upp Bukit Timah coz it's the only bus to Bukit Timah, Upp Bukit Timah from Town [ignore sv174 please] from Scotts Rd and Bukit Timah up to Farrer Rd junction
