Withdraw of Sv 84, 371 and opening of PGL and SKW LRT

  On 29 Jan, PGLE LRT and SKW LRT will start running with a special 1 direction manner... (Selected station)
  
  Bth 84 and 371 will be withdrawn during March sch holiday (12/03).
  
  Sv 163 will have rt changes. No changes to Sv 83...
  
  Bye to the 1st special feeder sv 84, peak hr feeder sv....

  IMO... 163 will be extended to PGL... route will be covering dleted serctor of 371 and 84

  According to the SBS Transit website, the only change that 163 would be skip one bus stop in Jalan Kayu (the bus stop after SK West Road) and ply via Fernvale Lane.

  The first special feeder, peak hr feeder credit goes to my svc 806, formerly svc 804A. It used to run only during the peak hours until it was converted to its present state in Feb 2000, way before svc 84 was even introduced!.

  For PGL LRT
  
  Bet 0520-1500
  Train will run in clockwise direction
  
  1501-0035
  Train will run in anti-clockwise direction
  
  Frequency: 4 mins (Peak) 6 mins (Off Peak)
  
  For SKW LRT
  Bet 0520-1500
  Train will run in anti-clockwise direction
  
  1501-0035
  Train will run in clockwise direction
  
  Frequency: 4.5 mins (Peak) 7 mins (Off Peak)

  Service 83 runs loop between Punggol and Sengkang Int. The service which runs between Tampines and Punggol is Service 3.

  Saw The Trial run Today.. First, A East Loop Train will Arrive at STC first.. After that when the train leave the station, a second train will arrive shortly (say.. Less than a min..) into STC.. And this arrangement will continue..
  
  When the Train Arrives, the Screen at STC will say "Train Arriving, SE5 Ranggung -- East Loop -- "

  FYI - Service 804A was introduced on 22nd Oct 1994 as a non air conditioned peak period feeder service.

  I knew this was coming. However, I still wish for Service 84 to become a regular trunk service, serving somewhere without MRT connection.

  84 is being introduced as a temporary service anyway.. so sooner or later it would be withdrawn.

  That will defeat the purpose of spending so much money building a LRT system.. IMO, they could start irregular service for 371.. like 103W like that.. since 371 still have itz own Supporters...
