Originally Bishan to Jalan Kayu loop service, then cut short to Ang Mo Kio. Taken over by Tibs in 1995, extended to Sengkang in 1999 and renumbered 866.Originally posted by SBS9889U:Where did the old service 59 serve?
Remind me of this incident on service 145 (SBS 181 L): http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=68346Originally posted by carbikebus:For SBST,If some areas the air-con if malfunction,The BCs will ask the pax whether if they still want to continue their destination or not. Then the BC will proceed if the pax still want to continue but only with alighting activities. Thus the BCs first must remove all service plates to prevent any boarding activities.Once reach the terminating point the BCs will inform the Timekeepers to make a report and off to depot for replacement buses or other instruction by the Technical officers.I incline to think that it is the same procedure for SMRT Buses
P/S:If the paxs want refund,Then they will have to alight and wait for another bus with a complimentary ticket which is valid for 1 month but for a single journey only.
You have to get permission from the bus company first.Originally posted by CAIX:Hi...
Just to know when visiting a bus depot do I need to make an appointment with the bus company or I can just go there freely, because I want to go to Soon Lee bus park this june holiday, with my parents.
I saw a similar incidence on a DD many years ago, with the bus only has Alighting Activities, on sv 14 i think.. reason was unknown..Originally posted by tranquilice:Remind me of this incident on service 145 (SBS 181 L): http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=68346

The Scania buses are L113CRB and their bodywork is indeed by Soon Chow. Recently, Westpoint had bought some L113CRL from SBS Leisure. Both have the same bodywork but it is easy to tell them apart. The L113CRB has a centre door while the L113CRL doesn't.Originally posted by Halide:Anyone know of these scania buses operated by Westpoint? Its body seems to be of soon chow.
well.. i seen the post... since theres so much red tape, i decided to make my album private.. lest people start to point fingers...Originally posted by tranquilice:http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=125367. As for your other questions, I think it's better to let the mods clarify.
