There is no advertisement on the bus guide and I've taken 12 guides because service 70 is a rare one. -

No, I don't have any camera or scanner or anything, but I can drop a few in the bus interchange or terminal's bus guide stand. One thing is that I stay at Shunfu Estate Near Thonson Plaza so I can put the guides at the Central area. But anyway, when the new fare starts, the bus guide will change and I need to collect them again. Maybe you guys can try your luck at Yio Chu Kang Terminal, go to the control office and ask the staff to give you the guides, thats how I take them.Originally posted by SBS9889U:can you take a photo of the date( with the guide)? -

A few days left to get 131's new guide!! NOOOOOOOOO! But i tink the new ones will not come so fast.

Just wait till 1st July 2005. SBS Transit will be releasing huge amount of guides because of the fare changes.

the new guides arent really user-friendly. the old type, ppl just have to draw lines to get the fare, but the new ones u have to subtract it urself, quite troublesome for those who dont excel in mental calculation. also, for loop services return journey, the journey plan moves down, u turns and goes up. quite confusing in the ''up" direction

SBS Transit wants to save papers and production cost. But I really likes the old design. I like both designs.

i cant stand is this coka cola design, whatever its called.. the paper is so soft and one touch on it will have a permanent thumbprint.. so sickening.. apparently, SBS triend this kind of soft paper guide in about 2000, but changed back to a slightly harder one. those 1999 edition ones uses the hardest paper.. better to hold and keep straight.

He was refering to the new design bus guides that we now see currently.....these guides somehow have been given nickname "coke" due to its wavy design.... Oh... ... that 'coca cola design'. It is only available in one colour only, Purple. And the paper feels smooth and it is like plastic paper. Too bad, not as good as the old purple one, with the graph. And yes, it leaves a thumbprint.
