I would urge you not to bet on something that has not even been confirmed yet.Originally posted by SBS9810X:I bet with you that SBS 1688 K will be on 163.![]()
this bus is still young and new i dont think sbst will want to scrap a young busOriginally posted by payne:Scrap it and take back some fund to buy new buses!!!![]()
It will be such a waste if 1688 & 2888 meet an early end. But isn't that what happened to the CSS DAFs? They've headed for the scrapyard even though their statutory lifespan has not come yet.Originally posted by 5454:this bus is still young and new i dont think sbst will want to scrap a young bus
When was the CSS DAFs died?Originally posted by iveco:It will be such a waste if 1688 & 2888 meet an early end. But isn't that what happened to the CSS DAFs? They've headed for the scrapyard even though their statutory lifespan has not come yet.

Drc kukucheow.....If you see 1688k with 163 perm sticker and on 163 would you bet?Originally posted by SBS9818A:I would urge you not to bet on something that has not even been confirmed yet.
I will only believe it when I see it with my own two eyes. And I do not think references to certain portions of the male anatomy deserve to be here.Originally posted by SBS9810X:Drc kukucheow.....If you see 1688k with 163 perm sticker and on 163 would you bet?
EDIT:i even saw 163A desto!![]()
it seems to me that you have seen 1688k with 163 perm sticker and have already ridden on it on 163...... so if this proves otherwise, does it mean that we can also use those words that refer to human body parts on you?? hmmm......Originally posted by SBS9810X:Drc kukucheow.....If you see 1688k with 163 perm sticker and on 163 would you bet?

But from the website iveco posted they dont look that ugly like what SMRT have right nowOriginally posted by The_Bus_Guide:A step by step definition of Cummins engines
B245: B-series, 245 bhp
C211: C-series, 211 bhp
C245: C-series, 245 bhp
L10H: L-series, 10-litre, horizontally mounted
LT10: L-series, 10-litre, transversely mounted
M11-305: M-series, 11-litre, 305 bhp
I have no idea the difference between a B, C, L and M series engine.
The Setanta bodywork was originally designed for the Irish market. IMO, they're ugly. Most, if not all, of the ex-SBS B57 had been retired. The good news is that one or two of these beauties had been acquired for preservation.
What about the console where the BC punches the ticket value? Don't tell me it's the same as the old SBS ones too?Originally posted by 105090:off topic: regarding of iveco saying ireland buses has sbs fleet, i would like to point out johor buses has the old ticket dispenser installed from sbs buses of the 90s in its buses. spotted in maju 207 route
