BNDEP used to control services terminating at Marine Parade terminal. Service 16 was controlled by BNDEP and ARBP in the past, which explained the Scania CRBs and MK4 Striders, not sure about DM3500s. -

BTW, when 16 was plying between Bukit Merah & Marine parade terminal, it was solely under BNDEP with full fleet of MK4 DMs. After the amendment, 16 was transfered to full ARBP. It's ex MK4 DM fleet scattered. Some stay in BNDEP while some went over to HGDEP.

svc 16 can actually terminate by the roadside at siglap link - like it always do
svc 16 is very long -

I don't get it! The terminal can accomodate 8 bus services, but there's only 1, with the exception of weekends, which has 2. If you ask me, Services 16 and 155 should end their routes there too. Service 16 is long (that's true), and I threw in Service 155 just for the heck of it.
Suggestion: Maybe Service 93 could call at Upper East Coast Terminal in the future, after the Circle Line is completely operational. It can then operate from Upp East Coast Terminal to Paya Lebar Airport as a loop service (I remember 93 used to loop here before being extended to Eunos.) -

Allow more buses to end at upper east coast terminal so that the place will be fully utilised. I think Bedok bus interchange is too crowded!!!!
