actually SBST did not have a road tax for 3572Y at present or after 30th May. yet. it's still "laid up" inside amdep.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:There's something funny with the Leyland Lynx (SBS 3572Y). This bus doesn't have a road tax at present. But it has a new road tax beginning on 30/05/2005 until 04/01/2006. What puzzles me is why does SBST pay for a new road tax if the bus is waiting to be scrapped?
Relax..... neither have I. Btw, does anyone know how fast it can do?Originally posted by sbs&tibs:OMG, this bus have stop servicing passengers anymore. Haven't even taken it yet!

This bus has stopped doing passenger service for quite some time already, between the timeframe of 1998 - 1999.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:OMG, this bus have stop servicing passengers anymore. Haven't even taken it yet!
I do not have a exact number, but it feels between 65 to 75km/h.Originally posted by SBS3624G:Relax..... neither have I. Btw, does anyone know how fast it can do?

The bus is still sitting in AMDEP.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:What I mean is that the SBS3572Y was no longer seen.
If you look at Lynx photos from Europe, you will hardly find one with a centre door. That's why the SBS Lynx centre door is like that.Originally posted by Volvo_Volgren:Ah....the first and last time I took that lynx, was during the yr 98-99. It was a service 267, that looped around the the AMK factory area...providing a nice tour of the area in a british-designed bus.
As you know, the lynx was very unique in terms of design....the exit door windows were half panels, intresting driver cab layout....impressive!!
Wah, thats very fast, man! And very surprising.Originally posted by off_service:I do not have a exact number, but it feels between 65 to 75km/h.
