I'm sorry for being long-winded. But it's the only way to express my views.
Eh, there's sv131 and sv145 overlappingOriginally posted by 5454:i have a Route Suggestion how about extending service 130 to harbourfront Interchange via keppel road and Telok Blangah Road then terminate at harbourfront interchange![]()
it's not long-winded.Originally posted by kenny_cai:I was wondering if this could become a reality. Currently, I have 5 route requests.

Tamago, isnt sv162 partial express esp along sv Bishan Rd and other parts of its route before it's present route?Originally posted by ^tamago^:i'm currently requesting for FFw 162e with a proposed trip timing of 50mins and express along bishan rd, sin ming rd (part), upp thomson rd (part), thomson rd (except bal hill), newton rd, stamford rd (part) and bras basah rd.
Take the MRT and use CityLink please.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Let me add a little something:
2. There is NO connection between Bedok and Marina Centre (although Service 14 is close). And there is NO MRT station around the Marina Centre stretch for another couple of years. Furthermore, I hate having to transfer 2 times (too expensive).
I don't see anything wrong why he can't share his suggestion. It's only suggestions, no harm right ?Originally posted by Zilchster:Pls do not suggest routes at your own whim and fancy.
And i certainly do not like to see those services being implemented. Except for the FF 162.
1. 38 serves as a feeder from the various mrt stns. who would be so nuts to take 38 from tampines to bedok if they're in a hurry?! even if by bus, there's 67 and 168.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Let me add a little something:
1. The route for Service 38 is almost directly parallel to the EW line from Tampines to Bedok, and inclusive of Expo station, yet nobody is complaining. I know this: I'm a regular rider. The service calls at all 4 MRT stations: Tampines (int.), Simei (along St. 3), Tanah Merah (New Upper Changi Road) , Bedok (int.), and Expo (the 2 bus stops outside Singapore Expo).

3. My Service 57 was meant to be temporary until the Circle Line fully opens. Other services in this category: 85 (already withdrawn), 93 (days are numbered)
But still, I hope that my Services 34 and 150 could become a reality. Services 57, 71 and 185 were meant for fun. Didn't mean any harm. And if I offended anybody: I'm sorry.
Commuters from JE can take Svc 502,Sv 105 which will bring them to either of the places like Holland Road, Bouna Vista(commonwealth Ave West),Bontanic Gardens and Orchard Road. If they are going to Orchard, Bugis, lavender and Kallang, there is always a faster mean of transport which is the Mass Rapid Transit.Originally posted by service_238:in addition.. your 150 is merely a Service 7 extension to jurong east. might as well propose extending it. -_-
Firstly, you should know that 38 was a merger of services 290 and 220. These 2 services were meant to serve people living in Simei and Bedok South. Service 38 being a merger as the added bonus of connecting Simei and Bedok South to Expo. 38's first priority is a psuedo-feeder service, not a trunk service linking Tampines and Bedok.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Let me add a little something:

yes, it was express along Bishan Rd, Upp Thomson Rd (part), Newton Rd and Esplanade Dr. but the rationale behind a FFw is to provide an express link during the busiest 1-hour period during the peak hours in the peak direction. it is not to be confused with an express version of 162 tat plies alongside 162 all day.Originally posted by Acx1688:Tamago, isnt sv162 partial express esp along sv Bishan Rd and other parts of its route before it's present route?
I kinda like ur sv84 BUT there's always sv136 to Upp Serangoon Rd, walk a short distance to Hougang Ave 3 for sv55. SBST wants all to make transfers as "it's not possible to make a direct link all the time".Originally posted by kenny_cai:My Service 71 was meant to be the SAME kind of bus service as Service 38. Anyway, I have revised the route for my Service 150, and 2 new ones. Hope these are OK! I'll present my revised Service 150 tomorrow.
SERVICE 84, Punggol - Marine Parade (loop). OK, since 84 will be withdrawn again, I thought of using this number.
Route: Punggol Interchange, Punggol Field, (Punggol East), Sengkang East Drive, Upper Serangoon Road, Hougang Avenue 3, Eunos Link, Jalan Eunos, Still Road, Still Road South, and loop at Marine Parade Road (Parkway Parade)
SERVICE 85, Punggol - Expo Drive (loop) This service is a link to Tampines, bypassing Pasir Ris.
Route: Punggol Interchange, Punggol Central, Punggol East, Sengkang East Drive, Upper Serangoon Road, Hougang Avenue 7, Tampines Road, (TPE), (Tampines Avenue 12), (Tampines Avenue 9), Tampines Avenue 7, Tampines Avenue 4, Tampines Avenue 5, Simei Avenue, Xilin Avenue, Changi South Avenue 1, (Expo Drive), New Upper Changi Road, and loop at Simei Avenue.
I'll say Service 84's OK.
Note tt there has been in increase in the frequency of sv65, so if a bus is full, please wait a short while for the next one...Originally posted by 5454:i Suggest for Service 111 to be extended to loop at boon keng road before looping at marina center this to bring convinence to those going to little india as there is only service 65 from orchard road and i see that 65 is always full and by extending 111 it will ease the load of 65.
The route:normal route from Ghim moh to orchard road then
prinsep st,serangoon rd loop at boon keng rd ,bendemeer rd,jalan besar, bencoolen st then normal route to marina center.
I noe... hope u included the bs os 1 Raffles Link for ffw162Originally posted by ^tamago^:yes, it was express along Bishan Rd, Upp Thomson Rd (part), Newton Rd and Esplanade Dr. but the rationale behind a FFw is to provide an express link during the busiest 1-hour period during the peak hours in the peak direction. it is not to be confused with an express version of 162 tat plies alongside 162 all day.
in my proposed route, travel time from YCK to Shenton Way will be 50mins and it only call at 29 out of the 55 stops 162 calls, which is less than the original version of 162 which has 49 stops.
Service 55 does NOT call at Parkway Parade. And if you say SMRT's 966, don't bother: because that'll involve 2 transfers, which is not good.Originally posted by Acx1688:I kinda like ur sv84 BUT there's always sv136 to Upp Serangoon Rd, walk a short distance to Hougang Ave 3 for sv55. Take 3 to Pasir Ris and change 15. 1 transfer.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Service 55 does NOT call at Parkway Parade. And if you say SMRT's 966, don't bother: because that'll involve 2 transfers, which is not good.
