I was wondering if this could become a reality. Currently, I have 5 route requests.
SERVICE 34, Bedok Interchange - Marina Centre (loop)

sv34: There's abit of sv15,36,197 and MRT direct from Bedok, probably SBST will say we cant provide a one stop svc from point A to B, u need to tfr...
sv150: Route duplication with sv7. There was a time when sv7 terminates at Jurong East Int before being shortened to Clementi when MRT extended to Jurong East...
sv57: Route duplication with sv93, sv80 partially.
Good TRy Tweak ur routes a bit, try not to use Geylang, Kallang Rd coz overlap with MRT -

here's my 2 cents' worth.
Note that 34, 57, 71 & 150 has an issue of duplication with existing bus services and competition with MRT lines.
185 is not likely due to the high demand for 243 as a quick feeder to shuttle ppl from Pioneer estate to Boon Lay MRT. -
Sorry to say this, most of the routes proposed are not feasible.
They duplicate existing services far too much.
It's a waste of scarce resources or resources in general. I dun wanna see SBST be in the red.
And by merging 2 feeder services together, you are seriously going to disrupt the travelling patterns of many commuters and severely inconvenience ppl.
Pls do not suggest routes at your own whim and fancy.
And i certainly do not like to see those services being implemented. Except for the FF 162. -

I certainly dun wan my fav 231W to be gone because it provides a nice route to my house..

Let me add a little something:
1. The route for Service 38 is almost directly parallel to the EW line from Tampines to Bedok, and inclusive of Expo station, yet nobody is complaining. I know this: I'm a regular rider. The service calls at all 4 MRT stations: Tampines (int.), Simei (along St. 3), Tanah Merah (New Upper Changi Road) , Bedok (int.), and Expo (the 2 bus stops outside Singapore Expo).
2. There is NO connection between Bedok and Marina Centre (although Service 14 is close). And there is NO MRT station around the Marina Centre stretch for another couple of years. Furthermore, I hate having to transfer 2 times (too expensive).
3. My Service 57 was meant to be temporary until the Circle Line fully opens. Other services in this category: 85 (already withdrawn), 93 (days are numbered)
But still, I hope that my Services 34 and 150 could become a reality. Services 57, 71 and 185 were meant for fun. Didn't mean any harm. And if I offended anybody: I'm sorry. -

2. if you're talking abt connection between bedok and marina centre by bus, your this service can work. BUT.... if u want the fastest way there, i bet many people would take the train instead. turning here and there in bedok reservoir and parkway wont do any good.
in addition.. your 150 is merely a Service 7 extension to jurong east. might as well propose extending it. -_- -
Commuters from JE can take Svc 502,Sv 105 which will bring them to either of the places like Holland Road, Bouna Vista(commonwealth Ave West),Bontanic Gardens and Orchard Road. Firstly, you should know that 38 was a merger of services 290 and 220. These 2 services were meant to serve people living in Simei and Bedok South. Service 38 being a merger as the added bonus of connecting Simei and Bedok South to Expo. 38's first priority is a psuedo-feeder service, not a trunk service linking Tampines and Bedok.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Let me add a little something:

in my proposed route, travel time from YCK to Shenton Way will be 50mins and it only call at 29 out of the 55 stops 162 calls, which is less than the original version of 162 which has 49 stops. -
My Service 71 was meant to be the SAME kind of bus service as Service 38. Anyway, I have revised the route for my Service 150, and 2 new ones. Hope these are OK! I'll present my revised Service 150 tomorrow.

I'll say Service 84's OK. -
i Suggest for Service 111 to be extended to loop at boon keng road before looping at marina center this to bring convinence to those going to little india as there is only service 65 from orchard road and i see that 65 is always full and by extending 111 it will ease the load of 65.
The route:normal route from Ghim moh to orchard road then
prinsep st,serangoon rd loop at boon keng rd ,bendemeer rd,jalan besar,bencoolen st then normal route to marina center. -
I kinda like ur sv84 BUT there's always sv136 to Upp Serangoon Rd, walk a short distance to Hougang Ave 3 for sv55. Service 55 does NOT call at Parkway Parade.
